Correct. As mentioned, every team apart from Saints is nearer the bottom than the top, and we're joint 2nd on points. We'll miss the play offs now IMO - as Radford conceded it's now advantage everyone around us. Catalans are probably done, but I think the top 5 will be Wigan, Wire, Saints, Cas and Salford as I can't see us winning more than one of our remaining games.

Our home form is poor. However chicken and egg it is the fact remains our vocal support is better away. Not that that's a hugely determining factor, just an observation.

Of course I'm boring, because I don't speak constant negativety about the people who are trying to bring success to our club. If I only concentrated on the negatives, I'd be hip and cool, like you.

Lots of small reasons in my opinion.

We dont train there, I believe the club dont even get to do a 'captains run' there so we dont get as much time on our home pitch as other teams do. However same can be said for teams like Wigan and Huddersfield.

The ground is too big, so we struggle to generate atmosphere. My own observation is that our fans have got a bit 'cosy' in their reserved seats, they arrive bang on kickoff, and keep quiet all game. At other grounds most of the stadium is unreserved, you have to get their early for a good spot and often you end up near someone with some banter and new songs and this helps the atmosphere.

Everytime we seem to do a ticket deal or have a game with a bit of hype we flop, and that doesn't help grow our crowds. Quite a few new people around me today for example, and until halftime they would have felt entertained but that dire 2nd half and seeing thousands leave with 5 mins to go won't have them keen to come back.

Now that Away fans have moved back to the North stand, maybe time for the club to make the East/North corner unreserved again with cheap tickets
'Chav Corner' had its critics in the 00s but at least they made a noise. Turning down the PA before kickoff would help.also, its so loud you can barely hear the person next to you never mind get a chant going.

I wasn't actually calling Radford tonight (although I do think he's reached his ceiling with us) but merely commenting on how impressed I was with Salford and how they were set up and played.

we have won 5 at home in the league this season,surprisingly rovers who are in a relegation dogfight have won 6 at home so far this season.just shows how vital our away form as been.

Correct, it's been really good. Some very enjoyable afternoons/evenings on the road this season. Wigan probably the best.

These type of performances and scores are becoming more common , not a good sign at all . Our defence is really shocking, and nowhere good enough to be winning trophies. Our last tackle plays must be the worse in the league , high kick to the corner every time , there’s no wonder why we can’t build no pressure . No patience or structure to our attack . I don’t no what the answers are , but I said a while ago do we need a new voice and ideas and are the players bored of hearing the same stuff !

I've said it all season, we'll win Super League this year, I'm sticking by that. Or at the very least make the final (St's are maybe better than I thought)

Even with all the dross we've served up this season, I've got so much confidence in the group we have.

Like most victorious teams, we need a bit of luck too.

There's no excuses, we have a good group of players who seem to underperform at will.

Don’t think we need a change of head coach or assistant coach, but we deffo need a new voice in the camp. We’re crying out for some different attacking ideas, and have been for 18 months.

I think those Salford fans will start to believe they could make the Grand final, and who can blame them? They did a number on us today and are looking in tip top form in the run in.

I think our 2020 recruitment will fix a LOT of the issues. We'll be right up there with Saints, Warrington and Wigan for the title next year.

How many games now have we we conceded over 40 points?
If we are crying out for new attacking ideas as you say and also concede so many tries i put it to you that we need a new coaching set up as we are deficient in both defence and attack

so it was crap on and off the field

Players just act on the coaches instructions and motivation etc

For those of you who think LR and AL can deliver a GF then in my humble opinion I forecast disappointment once more

Radford and Last have proved in 2016 & 2017 that they can coach defence. I agree it’s been poor this year especially, but the coaching staff have proved they can do it.
What has been apparent in Radfords tenure is that the attack relies on either a kick, or a piece of individualism. The structures just don’t seen to be there, and we are reliant on certain individuals.
Therefore, I’d recruit in that area. Won’t happen though.

I really don't know what's going on at our club. Everyone seems to content with the utter e that's been on display for most of the season. The players can't be d, the coach has admitted he doesn't know what to do about it and the owner has his head in the sand about all of it. Just to top it off there's so many fans busting their guts to make excuses and pretend we are doing ok. the whole of the 'Hull FC' entity is delusional.
Look at what Ian Watson is doing with Salford. No fans, no money, players sold from under his nose and they regularly produce quality rugby league. Can you imagine what someone like him could do with our squad!?
