If you know anything about R/L and given your age supporting Hull FC for many years as you said you should be aware that this team we have could go to another level with a quality 6 and that is what i said in my post.
I still think the club will recruit a 6 for next season and Micheals will be allowed to move on.How they do it i dont know but i am certain they will.

We need someone to make genuine tackles on Smith in the process of kicking. He gets too much time with ball in hand to do what he wants. I don't care if you're not going to actually stop the kick but following through with a hefty legitimate tackle will slow him up and make him think twice about how quick he needs to get rid.

If we can cut out the dropped passes and Manu"s regulatory two or three penalties we can beat anyone.

I was reading the Wigan v Saints thread on another forum and after the mass brawl late on, a Hull fan posted "Get stuck in lads, don't worry about next week!"

I doubt there are any genuine Hull fans who are embarrassed about being top of the league. The town will be awash with Hull shirts tomorrow

Finishing top is a great achievement and gives us an excellent set of fixtures now in the super 8's and with that a great chance to stay in the top 2 which has to be our aim from now.

By my reckoning, based on Catalans and Castleford losing tomorrow,

our homes games would be against Warrington, Wigan, Catalans, and Wakefield

and our away games are at St Helens, Widnes and Castleford.

If we beat Catalans it would mean we only need 1 more win to stay in the top 4 (ignoring points difference).
