| I don't hate any club. I find that all their fans contain some idiots (including ours - I'm a Leeds fan by the way) but generally if you're in the pub before or after a game you can have a decent bit of friendly banter with fans of any team. Anyone who has been to more than one professional football match will know how lucky we are with that. Despite often being told on here how hated and arrogant I am, by virtue of supporting Leeds, I've never had any problem with FC fans, who are a pretty decent bunch. Cardiff (and Bath) 2005 was probably my favourite RL weekend. Shame we lost, but it was a great game (any Leeds fan who claims they don't really remember it is either lying or wasn't there) and your fans created an awesome atmosphere.
For all your rivalry with KR, you've got a lot going for you having them around. It makes Hull the most genuinely RL-centred city in the country. As a Leeds fan we don't really have a meaningful derby since Hunslet fell behind in the modern era. Our biggest rivalry (Wigan -disastrously - in the 90s, Bradford in the early 2000s, Saints in the last 5 years) have just been with whoever we are competing with most directly. It'd be great to have a derby that meant more than that. I'd still dearly love, more than any otyher team, to beat Wigan in a big final, but only because we've never done it and we owe them a few after the 90s. I have no issue with the club or its fans.
I spend a fair bit of time in Hull, I love your city and good luck to you whenever you're not playing Leeds. True story.

Very well said. I'm the same, I don't hate any club.
There is nothing better than pre & post game banter in a pub at the away ground.
[size=50Speak it very quietly but I quite like Leeds. One thing would I would like from them at time to time would be two bloody points![/size

I understand that, the bit I don't get is the desire you have to see us go out of business. Seems a strange stance to take given this response.

| My brother in law is Sth African and they had servants. They would put their Rhodesian Ridgeback pups in a bag and hit them with a stick . They would open the bag and they made the housekeeper stand there with the stick . The dog , somehow , remembered and that made them guard dogs for the homeowner .
As a boy aged 11-15 I watched Rovers beat us and we tooka lot of stick from Rovers fans , a lot of it nasty , especially at old caravan park. I took an instant dislike to them AND more to their fans. It has never left me. Then the Colin Hutton/Lilley affair over the Gateshead merger etc really took the biscuit. That was hatred and vengeance personified and they wanted Hull out of business and for only KR to exist.

| I think the use of the word 'hate' is more lazy english for want of a better word.
I love seeing certain clubs suffer on the field but i'm not keen on seeing them suffer off the pitch.

Amazing how you can dislike all HKR fans
My worst experience at any game was in the 80's when a drunken FC female fan spat at a group of us and called my (then) 6 year old daughter a 'little R&W c***' after we tonked you at the Boulevard, maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and dislike ALL the fans of FC, including several friends. For the record, both our clubs have a number of nasty (so called) fans and as fans of RL we should be disliking these, no matter what shirt they were to justify their twisted allegiance.

Thanks for that at least I now know to hate your Brother in Law and his immediate family who partook in this activity, are they FC fans, I hope so then I can justifiably hate all FC fans as that story would make them all racist (I'm assuming the servants were black) animal abusers (even ethnic FC fans who work for the RSPCA).

I think thats where mine stems from - it was sick.
Also, after the McAlpine incident, my dad and the rest of HISA were going to walk around Headingley before a Leeds home match with an apology banner. Gary Hetherington cancelled it on the day as he couldnt assure their safety!!

Its the same as when Liverpool fans used to sing about the Munich disaster to Man Utd fans.It it totally sick, but I am sure most fans of the clubs involved cringe at it too.

| Hate is a strong word, I only really hate one club and that's Wigan. I don't mind their supporters, most of them are knowledgable and law abiding, but I hate the players, the people within the club and all the ar$h0le ex players like Phil clarke that seem to think the world is against them.
I dislike Bradford intensely because they are so jealous and bitter about anything to do with Leeds, it's just a reciprocal dislike. They're also very scruffy and a bit slack (see "Rita Sue and Bob too" for details)
I place Hull 3rd behind the above two purely on some of the chavs that follow the team. A lot of Hull fans seem to think they've got to live up to some sort of intimidating stereotype and end up making right prats of themselves. It's always good to beat Hull and put the chav element in its place. Hull have a lot of decent fans but the large minority of chavs will continue to keep them in my top 3.

| Quote ="Tongan Mafia"So Majority of Wakefield Fans want us to fail because of us telling them some home truths about Agar. And some Wakefield Fans are going further by saying they will cheer on KR when they play us
! How dare they im horrified how someone would stoop so low to support that lot who have fantastic chants like we all hate Hull!!! (Does Caravan Park not count as been in Hull or something)
Then there is the Drug story where everyone has become a saint and are appalled by us and say its a disgrace. The way people are banging on you would have thought it was crack cocaine or something, instead of a dietry supplement. But its oh its that Hull Fc lot, a dodgy motley bunch who deserve to lose every game.
But maybe what broke the camels back is the away ticket prices what has got other fans coming at Hull with torches and pitchforks and obscene langauge (especially from people from Manchester!) Kr are getting excited with Hudgell trying to stick the boot in, but at the same time saying oh yes we are all good friends. Then there is Kr calling us an embarrasment while coyly whistling and sweeping the Cockayne and Mason sagas under the carpet.
You are being a bit hard done by. And I think Bradford might take that mantle for a while now, though I don't hate them for what has happened today and I don't like bitchin about other clubs and their fans unless they really have done something beyond the utter pail. I just hate the RFL and the way they are running our game. My hate ends there.
So it begs the Question are we really the most hated club in Super League?
If they are all upset now, god help them when we win something. Maybe when we win the Grand Final then maybe we might put another couple of quid extra on the away ticket prices. After all they will becoming to the best stadium and the best team in the league.
So what does everyone think? Do you think we are being hard done by or is it warranted?'"
