The Champs travel East for the first time since "Briscoe-gate".

The home sides new owner has nothing to say but has said it too loud recently and the chelping from the local sand worms has reached fever pitch.

The loss of Mckinnon who has realised that the owners rants of becoming best in SL are just wind and BS is a huge blow to the pretenders.

Jjb could be back to boost the Blue 'n'Amber in the pack and after a below par and shaky cup win we will be determined to be better and sharper in all facets of the game.

Plenty of huff and puff from the Reef and the usual giving it large from the terraces but not enough class or know how to beat the Champs.

Another win on the east coast and cue the excuses and from the B+W Morons.

Even with a depleted side, Peter Gentle comes up with a formula & a game plan. He also always impresses the hell out of me, in what he says post match. Hugely impressed by him.
I no longer worry about which players are signing/leaving. In AP & PG we are in safe (ambitious) hands.

We pulled off a massive coup in bringing the current (at the time) Aussie number 2 and like I said in another post a month or so back. Never mind the signings we made, he has been our best signing this season.

Well-deserved win! You'll see a much better Russell once he settles in properly, he's a lot more dangerous in attack than he showed tonight, but still had a decent game. I hope he comes back to us, though I get the uneasy feeling that with Tomkins in place, we have a Radlinski/Briscoe scenario...so you might just end up with him...

After the 2nd Briscoe try, in the midst of all the wild celebrations, I noticed that the lady who sits in front of me was quite upset. I thought she'd been hit in the face by a "celebrating arm" or something in the joyous melee. I leant forward and asked her if she was alright (actually I had to shout at the top of my voice !), as the tears tears were dripping down her cheeks she shouted back just as loud " Oh I'm alright, I'm just so so happy". It really meant so much to her.
On a different note, theres no doubt Leeds are a top team. but what on earth is happening to them?
Pushing the rules to the limit at every play the ball, every tackle contact, moving off the mark etc, Is it really so win at all cost ? Was pretty amazed to see their antics of mass encroachment when Danny was kicking and quite sad to see how low Webb was stooping to distract Danny. Very noticeable that Hull played in the spirit of the game and did their talking on the pitch with a display of passion and will to win. I'm so proud of Hull FC tonight.

It's turning out to be alot tighter league this year at the moment. There are some teams with games in hand but even taking that into account only 5 points thats 2 losses and a draw cover the top 7 teams.

Better for the game that we have had a variety of teams already in top spot this year.

You do have to laugh when arrogance crumbles to dust.

happy to see us taking 2 points when in good positions. that will pay dividends over the course of the season.

Imortant 2 points but we shouldn't get carried away. Means nothing if we don't back it up with wins against london and rovers

Great win. When we have our forward strength available (or a decent amount of it) we can match any side in this league.

Obviously I wanted Leeds to win lol but got to admit enjoyed the game I think hull have a coach who knows what he's doing and seems to have really got the team clicking, thought fc were a different class to Leeds and can see us getting our back
Sides kicked in 3 weeks, we seem to talk the talk but not walk the walk. Credit to hull for putting the hard work in.
