Disagree. Thorman has the ability to throw it wide, keep it tight and vary his kicking game. He is not at fault for our boring 5 drives and a kick. He is fantastic at executing a game plan, he just keeps getting given the wrong one.

I kow you like your old fashioned 13, I do to in some ways. The fact is Horne and Thorman are not SH's, they can do a job there especially Thorman but they don't dictate games the way a top SH does.

Maybe playing a ball handling 13 would help the both out?

Against Quins I could imagine it due to they way they play and the conditions, it made more sense. They could still have drawn and passed from time to time, they managed it for the Yeaman try well enough didn't they?

For the first fove games Horne & Thorman played realy well together...but the pack were also on top of every game.

Both are quality players but like everyone know's neither of then are a SH. For the short term we have to keep them both fit & play them as half backs as we have no other choice. I do however think we need to bring in washy/whiting as a ball playing looseman to take some pressure of the them!!

I have none really but my opinion based on experience, just that both Orford and his representatives have said that reaching a deal with Manly is there priority as he would prefer to stay in Aus, but if it does boil down to the money the UK is were he will end up, we would nto be able to compete with the likes of Warrington and Wigan, he will be one of the most in demand players in the world.

I know he originally priced himself out of a move but you dont start low to go high - perhaps he realised he wont get Matt King silly money and lowere his asking price.

Im not saying its a good thing to do and maybe Hull take a more sensible approach (Considering Matt King is an example of this) but the clubs mentioned have proved that they are willing to use massive chunks of there salary cap in the past.

I would like to see us play in the style of the Bulls game every week, it won't always come off but I don't mind that. However I do accept that Saturday was a one off due to the conditions although with 20 mins to go I thought we might have should a little more urgency.

Matt orford would be exactly what we need , think we would have good chance of signing him as we are liely to get rid of couple of players when their contracts run out also depends massively on crocker's decision.

We were looking at a no.7 before we had any problems over Crocker, we have signed Luauki in the meantime but Byrne and Cusacks money will be free to use so I don't see it being a problem.
