Their new coach is not exactly got a great pedigree has he. They are not going to get any games at HOME as such so I think they will have a poor season by their standards.

I cant see the Widnes thing making that much difference.

Yep agree with that.You only have to look at Leeds a few years back,they went from 5th to signing nobody to superleague champs the next season so fingers crossed.

1, Wigan Squad just too good and a quality coach. Fantastic additions are to an already very good squad.
2, Saints Still a quality squad with 3 very good additions.
3, Wire Pretty much the same as last season.
4, Leeds Probably on a slight decline but still a quality top four side.
5, Hudds Pretty much the same as last year. Decent squad but a coach who will get the best from them.
6, Hull KR Very dependant on Mason turning up and Green being more than adequate.
7, Hull Fc Still no HB cover and WHEN Long is out, we have zero quality there.
8, Catalans New coach and a new start after last season.
9, Bradford Chance of the 8 with Potter in charge and lots of new signings.
10, Salford Made lots of decent signings but top 8 is probably a couple of seasons away.
11, Castleford Would like to see them higher up but they seem to have higher priorities than SL table.
12, Quins Poor squad and losing every player that's actually any good.
13, Wakefield Preparing for life outside of SL
14, Crusaders Waste of time and might even start with minus points

Are we not the same as last season with additions in positions we needed to strengthen? If so then no reason why we can't be close to 4th again.

3. Warrington - Good, solid and strong squad.

=#FF00004. Saints - Fantastic pack but will need both half backs to stay fit, playing at Widnes may cause a small disruption.

=#FF00005. Hull KR - A good settled squad, if Dobson and Green gel, then who knows! Looking forward to seeing a mature Willie lol

=#FF00008. Hull - Once again a real problem in the halves which seems to have been going on for years now. Berrigan can be key if he is given a full time centre spot but not sure Agar will see it like that. O'Meley has to stay fit as he lead the pack superbly last season.

Liked I've said previous, even with no real half back pairing, we still came very close to finishing in the top 4. I don't see why people think it's going to be any different this year. One old plodder forward and crocked winger out, and two young and promising equivalents in, surely means better then last season?

Agree about Ogre though, and I think Berro to centre could prove a real smart move if it materialises.

I see your point ok, its similar to people saying Rovers will finish lower down the league than last season, we have brought in far better players than we have let go.

Put Saints under Leeds,and Bradford above Salford,and I almost agree with you.
