On a serious note, he has been quite consistent this year.

Still trying to figure out if you are commenting on the OP or you are making a comment like "I dont believe we signed this numpty" or if you were testing out your Victor Meldrew impression on the forum.

after fridays performance it was clear to me, that he is miles better than most of our pack, and he will be a welcome addition to our forwards....in my opinion anyways...

He was miles better than our pack because our pack was beaten. He is surrounded by good players high on confidence, when he gets here he will be no different to Radford/Dowes.

I think he'd be a great signing as long as we're not paying top dollar. He's not the force he was, but in my opinion, excepting Ogre, superior to all the other props we have (forum darling Sam Moa included!). Why would he leave Wigan? They obviosy are not prepared to offer him the money we would, I do worry about us becoming a retirement home for formerly great players wanting a last pay day.

Would I be stoned by suggesting I'd prefer us to nip over to East Hull for their promising prop?

id take him anyday..saw alot of him coming through the 21's, and he was a man vs boys even at age 18ish....
looks a real talent that lad and would be a great siging but i very much doubt he will come to fc considering he is smarting over a new and improved 2 year deal......i dare to say that afew NRL clubs were looking at himbefore his re-negotiated contract at KR, so id expecxt serious interest if he continues his progress in 2 years time when his contract runs out....

In relation to being battered by Radford, give over, he stepped up for Prescott in a charity fight surely you cant knock him for that.

I agree he is a shadow of his former self and yes he got levelled by Willie Mason but i would take him over Dowes & Cusack any day.

I'm not sure why people give him stick because of the punch by Mason. I'm sure anyone getting caught flush on the jaw by a punch from someone as big and strong as Willie Mason, would go down in the same way. He's better than Dowes, Radford and Cusack combined. Not sure about this one. Thought he was done years ago as he was playing 80 every week, but has done well recently. I'll reserve judgement until after a proper announcement
