Ref was so inconsistent, gave penaltys to Wigan 4 sets on the trot all for really innocuous things. Wigan spoiling as usual but got away with it.

We played as a unit. Great graft, but sorry Gale was brought In to make us more organised and in moments we still have the school boy brain farts. Why Gale or Houghton arnt over supporting wynnes break or there for the play the ball needs to be addressed, as does the Reynolds drop goal attempt.

Bit better organisation and 2 better half backs and wel push on.

Great afternoon's entertainment was it 5 assists for Jake? Carlos back to his best works so hard carrying the ball out of defence. Better from Reynolds and gale hopefully a few games together will see a bit improvement. Usual forwards stood out but must say was impressed with Evans his work rate in defence is so good. Would liked to have seen Joey replace Danny late on for some speed around the ruck but looks like injuries stopped that happening. Well done every single fan who was there superb atmosphere

Really enjoyable performance should have won with a bit to spare. Gale and Reynolds were ok but we need more from them.

So that we are on your planet can you name them because apart from a couple pointing out some obvious brain farts i cant see any.
There are criticisms but for me the only real negative was the injury to Ligi Sao who could be missing for several weeks

I think Gale will be fine, he was on 10/12 before today. Three missed this afternoon but all from the touchline. Maybe lacked a bit of match condition goal kicking.

Gale has been a super league scrum half how long now with different teams? You shouldn’t need a run of games to work on your kicking game, it should come natural after all this time knowing where you are on the field which is the best time to kick etc.

If you ask me the next time we lose i have no problem naming our best players in my opinion.
Its obvious you have identified some of our worst players today yet you wont name them for some reason and i suggested you dont want to receive and criticism or get banished from the posse.

Always enjoy winning against Wigan. Hate playing them though, no matter how far infront you get they'll always peg you back.

The Wynne ptb error was the only real gripe for me. Miscommunication with Swift and Gale, and to concede a try not long after was frustrating.

Plenty of positives though. Evans had his best game, Carlos Ma'u, Connor, Wynne all very good. To be honest all 17 contributed well.

Thought we got the rub of the green ref wise.

Glad we seem to have sorted our home form out too. Something that has plagued us since 2018.

Look mate you get a feel for the game if your actually at the match, l listened to the game, while it was a great win against a nearly first choice Wigan side, the nitty gritty, the real deal, you can’t get of the radio, and I couldn’t honestly say who was the best or worst players, because I didn’t see, but one thing I know, is celebrate the result without overanalysing who did or didn’t do, you have to enjoy the victory or what really is the point. This is said without animosity.

Just watching the highlights and on Wigan's last try Reynolds does a late shot on a Wigan player wouldn't be surprised if he cops a ban for it

Not sure it’s late as he seemed to already be committed to the tackle before the Wigan released the ball and not sure there was much of an option to pull out the tackle.

I wasn't going to post originally as I agreed with most of the sentiment on here and I've thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon of rugby.
A loss for Rovers coupled with an excellent victory for ourselves, Saturday's don't come much better then that but reading your posts, seriously where do you 2 get off?


I've read through the thread and no one has been negative or would appear upset at our win.

Hull 2524 calls out the 'usual suspects' for being missing because we've won and COYU then has a pop at Bonaire for not being happy.

Neither of which appear true, yet you 2 become divisive and then form a little alliance to belittle said poster.

It's attitudes like yours that detract people from posting, as if an opinion differs from the clique, they are rounded on and ridiculed, it's almost bullying in it's form.

Why can't you just enjoy the excellent win and performance we've witnessed and move on without your negativity around certain posters?

I suppose hypothetically you can give yourselves pats on the back for what you've done but I'd rather you stick to topic and discuss the match rather than individual posters.
