What I am stating, is members of Coaching staff that are employed at Hull FC,
which is indicated by the club website and Match day programme.

But you said that the coaching staff list was definitive because it was in the match programmes and on the website so by the same rationale you are saying that the list of administration staff is also definitive and that therefore aside from the players only fourteen people work at Hull FC (including Pearson and the chaplain).

You cannot just go on a club website and compare staff numbers because clubs will not necessarily list all staff nor state whether they are full time or part time. We might have as many full time coaching staff members as Wigan or Rovers or Widnes, who knows?

It's fairly obvious not everyone is listed, none of the 19s or 16s / scholarship coaches for a start, but that's still not to say we are anywhere near other clubs numbers

You have an owner who is not really a Rugby man who has a lot to say but does not back his words up with actions , he really wants to be somewhere else (Leeds United) but can not afford to be there . You have a coach who has no experience and would never have got near another Super League team . Oh and you spent silly money on Gareth Ellis salary (as fantastic player as he was he is now injury prone and past his best ) when the money would have been better spent on the half backs who are the hub of any team

Ellis got a freak off the cuff injury at your place on his debut, unforseen and could have happened to anybody.
Played in virtually every SL game and our Wembley run after that.
Played in all games this season other than a two match suspension.

Well he has been on the pitch but I wouldn't say he's played.

I got told about his injury prone nature on twitter the other day. Where the hell does it come from? I know I live in a virtual world where Hull FC are world beaters at times, but these ideas of Ellis being passed it and injury prone are bonkers. He'd still be in every SL first 17.

Anyone else read Radford's interview in the HDM?
I find it embarrassing personally.
Radford getting his excuses in early if we fail to win on Saturday.
I'm sure Pearson beginning of season had us down to be the underdogs in the city and will be happy to see that even our coach doesn't appear confident of the victory.
It's becoming laughable now.
What with the investment off the pitch we still don't invest heavily enough in one of the key areas to be successful.

I wouldn't say Rovers are "red-hot favourites" although I still think they will win because I have zero confidence in us at the moment. As the article points out, Rovers haven't won since they beat us at Easter so their form isn't really that much better than ours. Radford's just trying to put himself in a win-win situation with the press and the fans. If we lose he can say "I told you so" but if we win he can build us up as battling "against the odds" and praise the "character" of our squad.

To be honest though I couldn't care less what gets said in the media. Let the coaches, the players and the chairman say what they like as talk is cheap. It all really only comes down to the 80 minutes on Saturday.

Equally though what effect does it have on the squad when he's saying that in the press. He may be saying one thing behind closed doors, but players low on confidence then reading that in the press....
I'd rather he just stated that he has faith in his players getting the job done. Our form is the same as theirs if not better looking at league table.
Given what Carvell has said about the mental game from training ground to pitch I don't see this as helpful however much it may be spin.

If City lose on Saturday they will play the first round Europa league qualifying games starting on July 3rd.Surely Allam will want the pitch ready by then.

Lose they will. I see a 4 or 5 nil drubbing. Hull city are too slow and Arsenal with most of their players now back from injury move the ball quickly and will be much too fast for Hull.

If City lose they will enter the Europa league at the 3rd round of qualifying on the 31st of July.

I see City received £67m from the Premier League this season, £5.7m more than ManU got last year for winning the championship.

Poor Mr Allam, his accountants must be in meltdown.

Allam has offered over 25 free tickets to council workers just like he did for the semi final so I don't think he's at odds with them as much as people like to think
