I can't make the trip tonight! I'm at work until 6:45/7 (I'm actually going to be hard pushed to even get in front of the TV in time, never mind to Hull in time!). Feels strange actually because couldn't make Cardiff either so it will be 3 games in before I can actually make a match this year! Luckily they've both been televised.

Leeds have made a major downgrade in coaching staff during the off season, so that alongside their injuries means that if we produce the big improvements our esteemed coach has promised us we should win quite comfortably. I won't be holding my breath though mind.

Really cannot see this game exploding............Leeds starting pack isnt one that will get into it............likely the starting props are Kylie and Burgess who are not nigglers. Can see a decent game with little or no incident.

You truely dont know how bad McClennan was then if you think thats the case. He inherreted Tony Smiths team and gradually took them backwards (the way we played) over the 3 years he was there. We showed more attacking options in our game last week than we did in probably the whole of last season.

Anyway as far as we go tonight, we are now a little light up front after losing Bailey and Cross from the 19. IMO I think we will go...

We have a couple of 2nd rows who can do small stints up front. Theres also Lee Smith who might be there or there abouts but after the way BJB played last week I would leave him out. Watkins must start too because he is the best young outside back in the game and for all his rawness, when he does something and it comes off he looks like a superstar.

Obviously you know far more about Leeds than me mate but Leeds fans seem to be doing a lot like some Hull fans still do with Agar, we know we've got a dud but we also know we're stuck with them so we try to convince ourselves (and others) that we're happy with them being there.

Me personally i think that leeds have a cracking coach now who will take them all the way , he did well with limited player capacity at quins so will fly with the lads at leeds but will take a wee while to bed in

He's responsible for bringing in O'Meely, Fitzgibbon, Long & Obst, and he's had the guts to get rid of Tansey.

Last year he managed to get you one game away from 4th spot (just behind Wigan, Saints & Wire).

Now you tell me, at the start of last year were you expecting to do better than that? We you expecting to very nearly finish higher than Leeds or Huddersfield? Were you expecting to be amongst the top 4 clubs in the league? Because if you were I'd suggest it's your own expectations that are letting you down far more than Agar is.

I would suggest that the [imajority[/i of FC fans have their doubts but are waiting to see how we go this season. Not off to a good start, but a win tonight would help a lot.

We finished roughly where I expected us to finish last season, and there's no disputing it was a big improvement from 2008 and 2009. Agar's recruitment last year was widely welcomed, not so much this year, although there are some extenuating circumstances. The problem is that a lot of people feel that Agar will never take us any further than we are now. The team have too many problems with the basics (passing, supporting, running lines) and he has too many weaknesses with selection and rotation.

If we don't improve again this year it's safe to say that the majority will want him gone.

Well, the award for making things up can be handed out, the ALL of the FC fans I know would get rid of Agar in a heartbeat, but they know we are stuck with him, for whatever reason.

And the point he was making about the posabillity of our coach doing something good, coming from a team with having very little to wrok with to a team where he has more opportunities.
