Leeds with a population of 750K (and large conurbation areas) really should be getting far far more anyway. When you consider Hull's pop. is less than 250k and with little outlying populous you can see that rugby fans in Hull do turn out in numbers even on the back of 2 poor seasons.

Hey...dont forget we have two teams and a premier soccer mob as well.......I think Hull folk are far less fickle and a damn sight more supportive of their chosen sport!
If the unthinkable happened.....and we merged with the inbreds of the east....apart from us all having seven toes on each foot and unhealthy thoughts about our siblings......The 'new creation' would be the best supported team ever......even with the many die hards refusing to go!
Leeds......Well....a city that size with a team that good and successful, should have no trouble filling any stadium anywhere. But having actually worked with Leeds (and Bradford) lads for the last 16 years....I've learned they are brilliant at bragging in victory......and very quiet in defeat. We in Hull (inc KR fans) like to get to the bottom of a defeat and try to see where it all went wrong.....We are a bit more 'into' our rugby i'd say!!

Don't know where you got this figure from it is around 300k also the boundaries were changed years ago so the population seems smaller than it is. officially Hull is the 13th biggest city in the country, but unofficially its the 8th.
with a catchment area of over 1 million, so our high crowds are no supprise.

And in answer to it, you wouldn't hear about Rhinos giveaways for 2 reason, 1) we don't have the need to do it and 2) you don't live in leeds, where as I live in Hull thats why I stated I didn't hear about it otherwise I would of got some for my nephew.

Leeds location helps with crowds. Only the Dobbins bring more than 2000 to KC. If we had the away numbers Leeds get every week, we would easily be the best supported team
