Its pathetic.

It's up to the individual if they want to re-new,choose matches,go again,buy merchandice......I'm already re-new ing my pass as it's what I choose to do.Yes AP has got it massively wrong with Radford but I will see how he goes with the halfbacks he wants next season be I start foaming at the mouth about it as Radford is going nowhere yet.

My thoughts exactly,webster at wakey,lowes at bradford are examples how a coach can improve a team with almost the same squad,radford is an example of how not to do it !!

Some very valid points in here. My main gripes this season with Radford are:
Same weaknesses at end as at beginning
Failure to get most out of available players
Constant tinkering, rather than get the core players gelling and addressing basics like speed of PTB, structured attack, support players.

I like recruitment so far, the issue for me, regardless of change in personnel next year, is lack of improvement over the season with this group. And injuries have been kind.

I don't know how you can say it's the English way with the sporting success that England G/b have had in recent years.So we shouldn't get behind our club to help drag it upwards again.All big firms have gone through rocky patches and even big clubs...look at Wigan in 2006 ....narrowly missed going down and now look at them,would you have given up on them if you was a fan of thiers

That to me implies he is referring to those choosing not to renew or spend money on the club as glory supporters.

Not sure if Webster is still an assistant but Lowes and even Joey Grima are now 1st team coaches in their own right and have improved their teams performances and results with the same playing roster by just treating the players differently, instilling confidence and belief into them and by tinkering with the style of play.
Radford will not do any of that whilst he has a hole in his ar5se and for me needs replacing not given more time.

When the club was on its in 1999 I actually got involved and did something to help change things rather than just whinge about it.

Just the type of person he is, Although I can't blame people for not going it wont help the club at all, if people stop going, the club lose money and then Pearson might leave.

So unless someone on here has a few million in the bank we must support the club and Pearson as much as possible, or we might not have a club to support.

I don't think anybody is happy with this season, but we have been through worst times and come out strong.

I still this Radford is here to stay, so AP help him by giving him extra support.

2 Withdrawing support, encouraging others to do likewise and saying those that don't are disgusting

FC Baldy, not sure how much of Lowes career you have followed but you need to bear in mind he has been on the coaching staffs of Challenge Cup winnings sides and Grand Final Winning sides, as well as moving to an alien sport and coming within a whisker of getting them promoted to the top league in RU.

I bet most FC fans would welcome that type of underachievement.

i listen to blunderside as i try to get out the car park the amount of people who say a n other was poor today and when asked if they went say "oh no i couldnt make it, but it sounded on radio he was poor" these people will go on radio and appear foolish so an anonamous post dosent seem beyond them.

I think that level of underachievement would be an improvement on our current level of underachievement.
Lowes reluctantly accepted his limitations first time around and went and did something about it.
Our current incumbent should have the decency to do likewise.

What was interesting about that season is the fact our average attendance in 2006 was the highest it had been since 1994. Ask a lot of Wigan fans and it will be one of their favourite seasons following the club. The club was being mismanaged on a number of fronts, but the support realised it needed to back the team at all costs.

only difference is, you didnt struggle for the next 5 or 6 seasons promising so much and delivering little

We've won 1 of the last 8, right? So on form that'll be 1 from the last 11 games of the season. Not making life easy for the season pass campaign, that's for sure.

To whoever it was who called me patronising you don't understand plain English.
I said clearly that there are those fans who prefer not to buy passes when things are tough.
It's always been like that. Make your own valid choice and stick with it would be my thinking.
There will always be those who stick with it and pay the price during the tough times. If you listen to the current owner (and those who came before) you'll know that season pass holders are the lifeblood of the club. They allow it to plan and budget for the future giving at least some stability to an overall precarious business. Without them the business ceases some time sooner or later - see Mrs. B's Bully Bully reference.

Those who stick with the club in thin times will have ensured that the next good times will be possible. Those who didn't will be welcomed back into the fold but shouldn't feel offended when their absence is noted. It doesn't make them any better or worse - it's always been that way and always will be.

As for "disgusting people" supporting their club with hard cash - well I have no time left to comment on that. I have a nice cup of tea and a piece of FRUITCAKE waiting for me.
