Agree with all of that but last season we didn't have the paper thin forward pack that we look like we'll be going with this year.

Having a strong pack with depth is the most important part of the squad over 27 rounds and even an average amount of injuries could see us really struggle up front.

I thought we needed two new forwards before we lost Radford, I think we look very very light.

Don't forget there are the youngsters, Gentle has stated today that they will play a part in our season. They may be untried but they have to be given a go at some stage.

I think realistically we should expect a 5/6th finish, semi final in the cup at least, at least a play off win and when we do go out, it's in a close game and not a hammering.

2013 After a season to sort out recuritment properly and hopefully some youngsters with first team experience, I expect a top 4 finish and a final at least.

i think warrington we be weaker next season aswell as huddersfield plus wigan losing there coach and possibly both tomkins brothers i think it will be very tight next season

Huddersfield won't be any weaker imo but not sure they will improve either.

Wigan will be an unknown quantity as we don't know how Wane will go or what recruitment they are going to do.

It's as though some people think that our young forwards can't play rugby! These players are in their early 20s, some been through at least one season full time and playing in a very competitive U20s season. I know it's a huge step up, but why are we now so scared to give them their chance after whinging about not playing them at all under Agar!

Look at the young forwards Saints and Wigan have brought through over the past few years. They had faith in their abilities.

I think the issue is that with a couple of injuries we could easily see 2 or 3 forwards thrown into the 17 who have no experience at SL level at all

I appreciate that, and I have said all along that we do need another experienced forward in the pack, but I think only one will be enough to give good balance. They need their chance.

i know warrington have a 20 million salary cap but morley and the rest of the pack are getting older along with briers and losing king i just feel they peaked last year without winning anything they were the best side though

Realisticly a top 6 finish would be an acheivement .
Leeds, Saints , Wigan , Hudds and Catalan will improve .

wire losing matt king and louis anderson and bringing in ratchford and hill id say weaker but good to see 2 young english signed, agree about hudds and think wigan and leeds are slighlty weaker but catalans will improve and can see saints having a top season even though graham is a big blow can see a 5th spot for us next season

Wire will be as strong again. The loss of King is a big one, but Waterhouse and Ratchford are very good signings. I also think Hill will go well in SL. They're my favourites for next seasons SL.

I'll be amazed if Sandercock lasts the full season. He's a youth coach not a head coach. There's a big difference

Under Sheens, Furner did attack and Gentle did defence last year. Furner resigned before Gentle, but I don't know if Gentle was sole assistant for any games. Was there a mid-season Anzac test? Was Furner replaced?
