Once he has come back he has been playing well again but still no coach wanted him as a regular 13. He has good skills with his hands and feet but he does not have the physicallity to play a modern 13 position imo.

Thats it though Paul...the modern 13...i like a ball-handling 13 but this has gone out of the game now.

I agree with that, and have done for the duration of this thread. What I disagreed with was the claim that none of our coaches have considered him for the role. At least a couple have, but then decided against it for whatever reasons.

westerman is a great player but playing in a team like ours where not going to see the best of him, we have westy,glesson,yeamo,manu and briscoe all these are top top players but they simply dont get the ball in good attacking posistions. change the way we play and approach games and we will see better from most players but espcially the likes of westy

For all the negative talk of Agar I read on here, from what the players say in the media they have a lot of time for him. I'm not so sure he's as bad a coach as is made out.

But he isn't dropping the ball or such like is he? O'Meley, Radford, Long, all experienced in the game have all praised Agar for his coaching methods, and I'd take their opinions ahead of any two bit fan on a forum.

but all players and teams drop ball and that but theres other factors to winning and losing games and the skill level of players have to be questioned if players continue to drop ball and the question is, agar is the man who has put this squad together and is under achieving so is it the fact these players hes signed are not good enough or like most other think agar isnt getting the best from the squad

Got Hull to Wembley in those four years, in the quarters this season with a good chance of a semi final, in the top eight as things stand, and helped himself to a few derby wins along the way.
