Thats the way I saw it. The kick was travelling away from him all the time and was more Raynor's than his.

Seen as though it landed about 5 metres away from him and he didn't turn around and run away from the ball I would that is utter .

I disagree he"d made the ground up quite easily and could have taken it with ease but like someone else said you could see the fear in his face and pulled out of it . Shame really because he"d had a good game apart from that.

FWIW both DDD and Lee Crooks thought it was mainly Tony's fault but that Raynor was also partly to blame. Seemed to them that neither called and both thought the other was going to get it.

Wouldn't be the first time Raynor and Tony have done that TBH.

TBH even if it was a 50/50 ball it should be the responsibility of the FB to make the call. He's supposed to organise the defence.

Defensive positioning is the weakest part of Tony's game at FB in my opinion. It's not going to help that he seems to have lost some pace following his injury.

Motu had a decent game overall and as we know has a great attitude and never shirks the workload. His support play to R Horne for the try was excellent.

Same with G Horne's failure to put Raynor in in second half though - at this level you have to make those plays just like Tony had to catch that ball. Not picking on these two - we have plenty nof players who lack the consistency of performance to be top level SL players.

Tony's fault/raynors fault who cares.The more worrying fact is we pooped up on a bomb yet again and its happening every week.One of them should have called for it,they didn't .......we got out of jail.

if hull are gunna have any chance of play offs this season they have got to put richard horne in at full back for rest of season, i'm sure there is still a place somewhere else for motu tony in the 17, as for losing horne out the half backs, do many people think it would make that much difference considering our current dour style of play? only my opinion mind but we have got to switch things around and try something different, it may sound like blind panic but with only 10 games left what have we got to lose because i'd say our top 8 chances are virtually nil with our current form.

No one is saying he was man of the match. But to be fair apart from that he was one of the best ball handlers last night. When he played at dummy half his passing was more accurate that Tommy Lee and faster passing than Thorman.
I was only pointing out that using the word Always to describe how often he let the ball bounce was not correct.
