I didn't include Dobson because I didn't think that there was any chance of that happening. Similarly, I didn't include players like McGuire or Burrow.

If we were lucky enough to get a new 7 to partner Chase either Brough or Dobson would be the stand out choices.

Myler and Chase wouldn't work as well imo but Myler and Holdsworth would.

In fairness when he said about Paea it was most certainly on. The first the Club knew that he wasn't coming was when they read it in the paper they had everything done and were waiting for the contract to come back. I beleive that the Catalans were 'tipped off' by a 'well wisher' and stepped in with a massive offer and Holdsworth is very likely I would say, if we are looking at a 6 if Chase falls through. He fits the bill and Salford need the cash.

I think I'll just wait until the signings are announced. I know that kinda spoils the fun but people claiming anything for certain are just guessing like the rest of us. They might have some limited info but they won't know the full story.

Ive always been a Danny Brough fan but in all honesty is he really the right man that can take us to the top as im not sure. As much as im not a Chase (the man) fan i do think he has that special something that can take us up there and i think the club might just surprise us all and bring an Aussie half with a kicking game from the NRL because i have serious doubts that Chase will get a visa
