Very clunky going forward but credit Wakefield they were up in our faces closing us down. We kept given them too much field position but thought our defence was good again tonight especially after 90 mins only 5 days ago.

I'll take that, given the mammoth effort last week. Connor showing his class at the end, Thaler absolutely creamed us for 80 mins, think we had 2 pens and 1 restart compared to them having at least 6 of each.
We need to be better next couple of weeks Wakefield had enough possession to win 2 games.

The myth of Jake Connor at full back has now been erased but we cant move him now into the halves for a couple of hard games against Wigan as
Connor Wynne has gone out on loan so it will have to be Tuimavave.

Big effort in defence again, while the ref was crap sometimes making it up as he went on.
It's our decision making that's got to be abit sharper, as any slightest infringement we seem to get crucified for it, whereas the opposition don't, there's zero consistency with these refs.

I thought when we get the ball quickly to McNamara who then finds Connor we do look dangerous it created two of our try's. For me Mcnamaras growing into the role , with his teammates trusting him more tonight. I knock Houghton at times but thought he was a lot better than Johnstone tonight, calmed us down.

We're definatley a work in progress, i think we l have a solid season, I'm very intrigued to see us after some proper Hodgson recruitment though, as I feel a few of our players have some bad habits that resurface and at times cost us.

To be fair we’d have crumbled and caved in last season but again they’ve stuck at it and done what was needed to grind it out.

Huge effort tonight defensively when put under a lot of pressure, losing Josh Bowden so early, then Faraimo off for 10mins. Can’t fault the effort tonight and again whilst not great tonight still showing that we’re improving in terms of team effort and playing 80 mins.

I know he has his knockers but thought Ben McNamara was again secure defensively and a couple of nice touches.
