I don't think there should be any knee-jerk reactions though. Radford no question has to assume some major culpability, but the problems at the club cannot all be laid at his door.

The lack of recruitment for next year suggests limited financial scope for investment.

I also think AP has adopted a paint-by-numbers approach to management with Ellis being a wholly inappropriate replacement for tony, who (it has become apparent) was a vital cog in the machine.

Radford will no doubt carry the can for the deterioration, but getting rid of him will not cure all the clubs ills.

I agree with much of that but I can't seem to get my thoughts in order. We were told nights like Huddersfield away wouldn't happen again, and here we are. That team tonight was strong enough to come out all guns blazing knock them off their stride and see out a win. Did Harris even complete a tackle he completed??

As I made quite clear, Radford must (and will) take the blame for not getting the best out of the team at his disposal.

My point is that whilst getting rid of him will no doubt result in some meaningful improvement next year, I don't believe we would be competing for top 4 even with another coach.

The club needs to improve in all aspects, not just the head coach.

Pearson needs to stop concentrating on reorganising the game at large and come out and say something about his own club.

Sick of hearing the excuses now and how they’ll work hard to put it right.

I know it sounds stupid on a night like tonight but I still believe in the group we've got.

At the moment the confidence has gone, that's down to the way the season went for us, we just couldn't get going, just setback after setback. But I know there's enough character and quality in our group to start a fresh next year and compete for trophies again.

We all want this season over with now.

Keep smiling, it's more fun than crying.
