Amazing effort if it's around that many, wonder how many Wigan and Leeds are taking given their lack lustre support for the last two CC semi finals. I always think with the success they've both enjoyed, there is no way Hull or even KR would be so poorly represented.
I think the club should offer anyone who can produce airline tickets or something to prove you're going to Australia a discounted NSW tour training top or polo shirt(I know we get discount with season passes).
Four weeks on Tuesday, can't wait, although the budgie smugglers might have to!

.... or maybe AP will assure all fans that haven't got tickets that they won't pull a stunt like this ever again.

all booked. flying out on feb 6th from manchester, 4 nights in cremorne point north sydney, then fly to melbourne for 5 nights taking in the WCC. then back to sydney for the double header 5 days in sydney staying in parramatta then home on 21st.

You have chosen a great location in North Sydney. We had friends for many years living at Cremorne Point and it was a great spot to view the NYE fireworks on Sydney Harbour. If you like walking(and it's not too hot) there are a couple of excellent walks from C P. giving lovely views.

Yes looking forward to sharing some beers with Wigan and Rhino's fans during the trip. We fly out 2nd Feb and back on the 23rd.

i've got friends who live in the next area to the north (cammeray) and they recommended the point as its a nice area. you walk a few hundred metres down from the hotel and theres a jetty for getting the ferry across to the city. really looking forward to walking around the area

Summary of what you can and can't attend (some events are understandably reserved for those on the official packages)

if you want to get out and about by bike in Sydney, Bonza bike tours hire out bikes, helmets (mandatory in australia) bags and tools - everything you need for a spin round the city. 40 dollars for a day. a word of warning though, Sydney isn't the friendliest cycle city in the world, especially when it comes to riding on the road, away from the cycle paths

Anyone planning to do any parkruns in Aus? I'm doing North Wollongong on the 10th Feb and Albert in Mlebourne on the 17th.

I've heard there are some good runs along the front in Woolongong with exercise stations at regular intervals.
Boot camps on the beach as well.

Doing Dolls Point on the 10th. We had planned to do Albert Park on the 17th but we'll be heading back to Sydney instead at that time.

I did the Albert Park Parkrun when in Melbourne for the World Cup. Made most welcome and a lovely run. Started at 8.00 though so an early start.

pffft don't worry about that, there are bikes everywhere, just download an app, find a bike, scan the barcode & away you go, much cheaper & more convenient, you just leave it by the side of the road when youre finished

8 squids for a pint??? pffft dont be silly, are you sure you live here?? you won't get hit up for that much unless youre really ripped off, and if you have any brains you won't be drinking pints, they go warm too fast in the hot weather & you'll struggle to find a pint anyway, stick to schooners, smaller, cheaper & more chance of staying cold

Wollongong won't know you are coming & its not like there is much to do there anyway, although for you poms you'll probably get a few cheap thrills out of some nice beaches, a few decent pubs etc, but if youre after somewhere livelier, get back to sydney as soon as possible

The trains to the Gong leave relatively often & are pretty cheap, dont bother with expensive tour buses etc, the trains are nice & air conditioned, serviced etc

cars a god option, nice easy scenic drive down to the Gong, be careful going down the mountain into Wolongong, some good little trips down the coast from the Gong, try Kiama & Gerringong, Mick Cronin owns the pub at Gerringong, shouldn't be to hard to find, i believe he's usually up for a RL chat, also a bit further down is Berry, lovely little country town, very arty etc, better on a weekend, quite a few wineries around that way also

Verb: a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence.
In other words he is saying is Hullers like to glass people lol
