Rumours are he's after $600k a year (the same benji wants) but no clubs willing to pay him that. A super 15 club (Queensland Reds) have offered $450k apparently.

I haven't asked, they have a few options if the first choice signing fails, I know they have given him a date for his answer.

Can only hope the fact we're sat at the top of the table and doing well at the moment will help our cause

Hopefully Wallace will stay away from hull, Cody Walkers just signed a new deal. Soward would fit the bill.

If Bateman became available would you sign him, I would and play him centre short term and them replace Ellis long term.

If he leaves Wigan I'd expect him to go to the NRL.

I thought the same thing yesterday about him being a long term option at 2nd Row - and a short term solution at Centre.

However, if he was to leave Wigan and perhaps got a criminal record for the alleged/rumoured shenanigans, then wouldn't he be refused a visa to enter Australia?
