The good thing with this tie is, Wire fans do like the CC and Hull fans generally are an optimistic bunch come game day that always think they'll win (not a dig, actually a complement). They'll be looking to get to a cup final and will travel well, i think Wire fans will respond to that and bring a bit more. One thing it will be is a good atmosphere, lets just hope the muppets both our clubs are renowned for don't show up.

I agree, I also think the fact we beat you at your place will help the crowd too...we are definitely the underdogs, but we've shown we can beat you if we play to our best, and that should mean more fans turn out.

Gutted I'm working that Sunday, I really thought we would be the Saturday with Wigan playing on the previous Monday and ours been the bigger game. Looks like ill have to do some begging for a shift swap.

Look at objectively, if you ask a neutral who they'd like to see contest a final they'd probably say Wigan v Wire, so put our allegiances to one side, for the last three years people have wanted it.
I'm not saying it will be, or we should be in the final, both teams will have to earn the right to be there and if the final is Wigan v Hull so be it, you'll be there because you deserve it.
Taking the fans out of the equation of the clubs left and ask what they would like to see with the clubs left and if Wigan v Wire doesn't come out on top i'll apologise for upsetting your fragile sensibility.

Separate issue, 6pm Sunday is a stupid time considering both clubs reputation for muppetry, if there are no flash points either before or after kick off i'll be surprised.

Not sure if people know or care, but the BBC have a weekend of Athletics from the Olympic stadium next weekend which may well explain the ko times. Its the anniversary games and something I am sure will capture the nations imagination more than RL cup semis. As sad as that may seem it is I am afraid the truth.

Glad you guys got the game at Huddersfield, London weren't so lucky having to go to the neutral venue of Leigh Sports Village. Practically a home tie for either Wigan (probable) or Widnes. The least they could have done is make those 2 teams travel more than 5 mins up the road, but as the RFL would say "that wouldn't be fair on Wigan".

Wouldn't say it was so bad. If hot it's cooled down by then. People settling down as a tv audience if been out and game will finish before 8 n kids off. Will breeze home that time of day on a Sunday.
