Leeds/Wire/Wigan - whichever offers most.

If he signs for Leeds, Wigan or Warrington I would be disappointing, he has stuck with us through some awful times and now we look like we are on the up he leaves, although I can understand why he wants to sign for these clubs.

If he signs for Salford I will be fuming with him.

I'm still surprised that these clubs apart from Salford would be willing to match our offer for him, I just wish the someone would announce it either way.

if his family ties are strong then Leeds would be the strong favourites given their geographical location. Aside from that I dont see Leeds as being up there in the next season or two..

It sounds daft but right now I kind of hope he doesn't sign. Yeah he's a good winger & yes he can score from nothing but how often does he do it a season? About 4,5 maybe 6 times? Doesn't really justify having a large chunk of cap stood on the wing imo.

I love Briscoe, and dont want to knock him as he is quality, and has been my favorite player the last couple of years. However this season he has not been the same player for me, not sure if his mind is elsewhere, the chance of playing in the Nrl is a massive oppertunity. But if he is staying in England and Pearson has tabled a substantial contract, then why wouldnt he stay with us??

Leeds wont match our offer, they are known to have a strict wage cap (which works for them) so wasnt offer the same amount of money as us.

Once again, people seem to be judging Tom on scoring wonder trys, they need to watch him more closely, he is so vital to the team he works so hard in attack busting tackle, offloads, making loads of metres and drawing defences in. Defebce is pretty good for a winger.

Will be a big loss, but we will survive as we have a bit of cover in the wings and a winger isnt as vital as other positions IMO.

If he has the chance to go to the NRL, that were he should be going.

Looks like he doesn't want to continue playing for Hull which is his choice and his alone. It doesn't really surprise me after his comments about his brother's move to Leeds at the time. Excellent international player who will be missed like any of that standard would be but one player doesn't make a team and Crookes has reasonable potential IMO. Maybe he is off to Salford as hasn't Koulcash promised them a big name signing in the near future ?

If he does stay in the UK it's a shame he didn't ask for a release at the end of last season when we might have been in a position to receive some compo from a prospective buyer. I hope he goes to Aus to 'fulfil his dream' but it seems unlikely. I hope he regrets leaving, and by that I mean he is watching from afar as Hull FC become real contenders in the next couple of years.
