Really don't get this anti city thing on here, surely must be a good thing for hull as s whole to have a premier league team that puts the the city on the map. I know a lot will blame Allam but it was no different when they went up last time.

Dislike Allam and his plans but hope City do well and get promoted as its good for the city and puts Hull back on the map to a certain degree. Football is a global sport and it would be great for us to have Hull in the top tier of both Football and Rugby. There's a lot of conflict between us and them. Some people (from both sets of fans) act like a right set of idiots. Our sports bigger than your sport etc. Football might appeal more to a global audience and the city may have more of a football presence but most of it is irrelevant. As long as all Hull clubs (apart from rovers) do well, I couldn't care less! Come on you Hull!!

I think a lot of it comes not from Allam but from the arrogance of many City fans who seem to think they own the place and treat the rugby with disdain. Rightly or wrongly many Hull fans react to that by meeting like with like.

I read a piece from Adam Pearson a bit ago talking about having a premier league team in the city with the increased revenue that brings. He particularly stated that having say 15 highly paid premier league players and their families in the city is like having 15 small businesses.
