You're right it does sound daft.
Why not just chill out the seasons not even over yet and your bleating about silence along with others. There are over 4 months until the season starts why not start flapping if there's no more signings then.

Was speaking to gareths mum and dad last year after reffing at kings croos where he grew up, his mum said he will come over it but not for a few years yet, she said he would go to bulls as he grew up supporting them, but he loves it at melbourne and is really settled so theres no way he will come over till end of his career.

some will no doubt poo poo it on here because that suits them, but for me persoanlly I still think that Pearson is trying to make a genuine effort when big players become available.

i honestly think pearson has made a bit of a mistake coming out in the press and bigging up the signings i think so far recruitment has gone good but the fact we have signed galea out of retirement signals we may have fallen through on a few deals for young english talent in bateman or whitehead if we were in for them galea was never in the plans so that says it all and was not part of the six. atm we look better then last year most teams have not improved there teams but got weaker so lets jus keep faith we will see who we sign when there ready to announce it.
As for the 2 a week im guessing the other 2 having quite been finalized and were either looking at an other option or getting things signed and sealed with the 2 that have not yet been let out the bag. i hope its mcdonnell if hes cheap enough he has enough promise if we get him on long term and will improve that position and the other 1 is anyones guess maybe a half back hopefully anyway but not alot out there. but in AP and PG we trust

All i was saying was if we have players signed then just announce them, im sure there will be more signings to come. In AP and PG we trust.

I don't doubt he is, the concern is there aren't many about and we don't seem to be doing well in convincing them we're the right choice.

Personally, I think bateman has let his heart rule his head and will end up leaving bradford for a fee in the next year or two when he realises he's made a mistake

So just because the club are not playing too or satisfying your every whim you come on here and whinge about it. Get a life, the club will sign or announce who they can when they can.

Think the only other club that have signed someone of genuine quality would be Saints and thats Willie Manu other than that every signing really does seem to be slim pickings indeed and think Wigans signing of Matty Smith & Blake Green display this particularly when they've paid fee's.

Spot on. In a nutshell, AP's been too bullish in his ambitious recruitment statements, but I can't think of other clubs that have materially strengthened because the quality's simply not out there.

i think adam pearsons intentions were good regards signing players i just think he didnt realise the complications that come with signing overseas rugby players its a lot easier to sign football players from all over which is what he is used to

He certainly got us FC fans hopes and expectations up and I think we all expected him to deliver. But with comments like we will sign two of the best halves in SL and young British future internationals etc. Alot of pressure was put on his shoulders to make them happen.
Maybe he shouldn't of made such big intentions. Nothing wrong in saying we want to sign the best we can etc but to say we WILL sign 2 of the best halves etc is just asking for trouble imo.
We may still sign another top halve but imo that is one of Chase, Brough, Dureau, Bosc, Dobson. Then the next lot would consist of Lomax, Gaskell, Myler, Burrow, Witt, Hanbury.
