This is another kick in the vitals to the club and the game as a whole, it could not have come at a worse time. The RFL will hold an inquiry and who knows what they will uncover, I hope they do and we need to get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Clearly I can see why certain actions have now happened and we need to get full answers to one or two questions. I am not going to list them here, but this is not going to go away over night and its going to linger for most of the year.

It is ludicrous, and the only think I can think of is that we were hitting a relative purple patch after the near hanging, drawing and quartering of Agar that was being demanded after the atrocious start, and the board didn't want a return to having to face the sacking of Agar.

I can only assume they thought Gleeson implemental to this, rightly or wrongly. Plus I think that whole thing probably snowballed from a small lie, that Rule maybe thought he could control, then couldn't. I cannot believe that only Rule, Gleeson, Long and Cooper were aware and party to the whole thing.

It also makes a lot of the remaining vague mysteries fall sharply into place, imo.

I was a big fan of Rules and stuck up for him quite a bit, but this situation has proven that he was operating far beyond his competency,

this kind of cover up has led to a fairly benign offence becoming a "scandal" and is unforgivable,

I read this situation as;

Major incompetency from Cooper > Gleeson being naive > Failed drugs test > Gross misconduct in the form of a cover up from Rule (no doubt encouraged by Kath et al) > Hull Fc being dragged through the mud again

My only question is, why did the RFL allow Rule to perform the cover up? Surely it was obvious to all in the know.....

You can tell that there is no love lost between Pearson and uncle Kath and since the Luke Briscoe tap up fiasco it seems to me that Adam is only too willing to point the finger of blame at IT whenever the oppertunity arises, and who can blame him.
