| Although most people posting so far appear to be unhappy at saving between £5 and £25 I would like to add my 2p by saying I am very happy at saving £25 on my pass for East unreserved next year. I've neer used the voucher scheme so that doesn't affect me but I'm confused as to why it was removed as it obviously proved popular.
I'm surprised nothing has been said about drinkies in seats as I would have liked it to be re-instated. You can't have everything I guess.
Now Pearson needs to reduce the price on the gate as £23 is extortinate! This is rugby not fooseball

If he does that then he devalues the season passes.

Doubt it will come down. If you divide the cost of a reserved seat pass post Jan 2012 by 13 games it's about £22.30 a match

The RFL can have no say in the matter... ATEOTD drinking should be allowed in the seats like EVERY other club!!

| Quote ="Staffs FC"Thanks for that mate.
This changes things for me. My pass, and particularly my lad's pass, has just potentially become more expensive than last year.
Because of the 130 mile journey I can't always get the lad out of school on Friday in time to get up to Hull. The voucher exchange was useful in that the games he didn't attend allowed his sister to attend others at another time. I didn't miss a game last year but previously it has allowed the Mrs to attend on my missed vouchers too.
I see removing this option and virtually holding last year's price as a major reduction in benefit and effectively a price hike. Totally unimpressed.'"
This could change my mind about getting a pass at all TBH. As I can't make all games even on a Sunday the voucher system was invaluable in making a pass worthwhile - now I'll have to think about it. May just pay walk-up pricing TBH.
Very disappointed. Plus ca change...

| All they have done is reduce the prices to 2010 prices, except for the junior price which is staying the same. If they hadn't hyped this up, I would think everyone would be happy with this but instead they decided to dig their own graves by letting fans expect a bigger change.

| Kinell and i get slagged off for moaning for moanings sake.
Im fairly happy that i will be paying 17.30 per game for a reserved seat on the half way line
Havent used thew voucher exchange much past 2 years so wont miss it, guess it would have gone eventaully due to abuse of the system anyways

I'm not going into the ins and outs but reverting back to no drinking stopped a major RFL fine heading our way at the end of the 2010 season. This is why I also say I'm surprised the North/East corner is being reverted back.

| It's not about the price for me its about all the spin that came from Pearson about how he was going to reduce prices, when he hasn't really done it.
The voucher exchange was a fantastic idea and Im really disappointed that its been taken away.

Not disputing that but what i'm saying it the RFL cannot stop us allowing drinking in the seating area.
Trouble is very rare and a problem that some make out to be worse than what it is!!

| Would have been happy if things had simply stayed as they were last season price wise but the withdrawal of the voucher scheme has seen a net increase in price for me. Shift worker who includes sunday in shift pattern, has enough trouble changing shifts. Would imagine most people will miss out on the exchange as most will be affected by holidays somewhere during the season

| Lets put some perspective on this. Whilst there has been withdrawal of a benefit, our fiends in the east have to pay £224 to stand in their East Stand or Well. Thats more than a ticket in our east or south and we give seats (if you buy before 31/12)
You only get discounted prices on seats in the East if you renew an existing pass at £221.
We are offering better facilities for near enough the same price.

I'm inclined to agree.
The more irritating thing for me is the removal of the voucher exchange system, only used to use it a couple of times a year (normally when either the wife or me couldn't make a game, so we'd bring a mate along to the next one), but it was something that was nice to be able to use if needed.

I feel the same way about that, infact could this be Pearson shooting himself in the foot? One of my friends was introduced to Hull Fc via the exact method you just stated, which has led them onto buying a season pass for this year accumulating the club another fan. I can't see a detrimental effect for Pearson if he'd let this stay

Your paying a premium to have a premium seat. The cut off line has to be somewhere, you can pay the same and move 2 feet if you want. The reasons your going to give why your not going to are why your seat is premium.
That said the difference in price is far too high.
Maybe Pearson is trying to make the east stand unreserved sections bigger
I also have a feeling that the match day prices will see the big reductions. I know this will probably offend a few into not getting passes but I also think it will attract far more to buy on the day.
If we brought day prices to £18-£20 I think we would easily attract more new fans who payed on the day than those who didn't buy a pass.
Also there are at least 10000 passes in the stadium at a decent price if you include east unreserved, south stand and west stand family stand.
My only concern is that all the unreserved east tickets get sold out. This would mean all those who take a friend on match day would buy an extra reserved seat but obviously try to sit in unreserved with there friends. The ideal for me would be that all the east stand was unreserved, all those who want a reserved seat could move to the west. I await the insults
