It's £20 to stand behind the posts at Wakefield as well but at least you can see the game without needing theatre binoculars. They can say what they want, but they still won't get 10,000, even though it is us they're playing. Sorry state of affairs really....

Realistically, what price do you think Rovers should charging for the South Stand? I think £10-£12 would ensure it's full, and (just about) represent a fair reflection on the quality of accomodation. Just to re-itterate, there hasn't been any £10 deals this year, 'cos they haven't opend the stand for any other game.

It's a pity the club couldn't put a big screen on at the kc,pay a small entrance fee,and watch it in comfort and also visibility.

You do realise the West stand upper at the KC is £25, which is £2 more than you charge for the North stand? And that's £6 more than Wigan charge!!! 30% more and we still turn up, who's the robbing gits!
Our South stand is crap but you're not there for the Carlsberg view (probably), you're there to support your team.
We don't worry about what's been said to wind us up, it certainly helps to crank up the banter eh!
So boycott if you like, we might return the favour in kind next time round but don't think that would make for a very good atmosphere would it!
Some of you would prefer us to go bust or into the lower league but both clubs are better off with us in SL, maybe you don't like the competition, our small club beating your big club, how dare we, support rugby league and not just your own club, the game in general will be better for it!

Well said, our stadium is improving, albeit slowly at times but plans are in place. What's your beloved anthem, 'in any kind of weather' indeed. As for the sit in the kc and watching it on tv idea, fantastic, your team are really going to feel supported doing that!

Lots of team are improving stadium facilities and doing it without readily available cash. The likes of the KC and DW are great, but not all teams have been as lucky to be gifted new stadiums.

If by "gifted" you actually mean "paying an annual commercial rental cost to the SMC of several hundred thousand pounds a year" then you are corrent. I actually think the term "gifted" is more applicable in the case of the freehold of Craven Park, which was purchased by the council to enable Rovers to continue trading and for which a peppercorn rental arrangement was put in place by them and KCD (formerly Gaingroup). What do you think?
