It was recently stated in the press that the pre-season target was to finish in a top 4 position.

They were of course misquoted what the actually said was

"We hope to finish in the top four of the bottom four."

So once the Saints game is over and that's an impossible dream he will be gone..........!

What can FCVoices possibly do about the team performances?, how many times, they are not a drum banging pressure group like HISA tried to be, FCVoices exist to raise specific concerns on behalf of individuals, or groups of individuals.

What good will a forum do, they know we're not happy, they know we're playing garbage, they know what they [ishould[/i do about it, listening to a few people rant in a function room isn't going to suddenly give the club the apetite to do what they clearly want to avoid, pretty much at all costs.

This is true. Sadly, this looks like it will only end with more scenes like those at the end of the Wakey game and a continuing decline in attendances.

I am not privy to figures, but last Saturday when my tickets were bought there was acres of space left in West stand. 18 months ago the derby would have sold out. I will be surprised if we have a 20k crowd on Friday. That's another 5k tickets unsold.
As you can see from crowds this year a lot of us have stopped attending like sheep and also from other threads merchandise purchases are being hit.
Beer is for the SMC so I fail to see what that does.

Short of constant chants of Agar and the board out there is little else we seem to be able to do. They fail to listen to the fans and will no doubt blame Lee and his staff for reduced merchandise sales before they blame the p poor product on the pitch. They think 2 or 3 wins will win us round as it has done in previous years. That plus a few signings. Well that's how out of touch they are now as it will take far more to placate us now.

Agree, it is heartbreaking what is happening to OUR club, how it is been run by people who have no thought for the fans only money and hanging on to their jobs.
I have supported our club for over 30 years through good an bad, but i cannot bring myself to go anymore with this lot in charge, it has been slowly eroded away, it just does not feel the same anymore, no excitement, no atmosphere, thousands like me are just losing intersest and walking away, the club has lost its soul imo,

You can hardly say that the calls, texts, and emails they had after the match were screened for pro-club content either.

That part was refering to what I listened to last night. How any fans most pressing issue is applauding Rules new clean shaven face is beyond me. The whole interview seemed like something broadcast by HullFCTV which I would expect to be scripted by the club.

he was on james hoggarth's show though not sportstalk, I'm not sure what you expect of him on a light entertainment show. That said I'm not defending him mind as i think he is a prat also

Yes, but they asked for listeners to send in questions and then asked Rule if he would take them. The cynic in me thought that the questions and comments selected were "convenient". I just don't think it's the BBCs job to filter out certain opinions.

That's fine by me if that's what happened. We should get a short statement to that effect before they do it instead of pretending it's an "open" Q&A session.
