I think in fairness to Agar he got the game plan spot on, and for 30 minutes we stuck to it and the energy of their halves and backs was sapped by the constant tackling and chasing they had to do. Then as always happens we got cocky forcing balls, trying to do the impossible, not completing 6's and lost it completely. Some of our backs are just not good enough. If we win on Friday which we must we are back on track if we don't with the fixtures we have got, its a battle to stay in the 8. Just my opinion though!

Lets look at it from another view. I think we all agree Rovers are a pretty poor side this season and recruited badly. Yet this poor Rovers side have only lost 2 more than us, that tells a big story to me.

Superleague is going down the pan for me. Instead of everyone improving it looksto me like most of the teams are average and inconsistent.

Wire & Wigan have been the two stand out teams and look like they can pull a big game out of the bag when needed. The rest i would agree with you.

You could also say they have more or less the same side as last year and are 7th this year whereas they where 4th last year and they haven't really suffered from too bad an injury list either. Huddersfield have got a better team than last year but are 6th this year whereas last year they were 3rd.

Isn't that what everyone wanted? Not knowing whether a team would win/lose any given day? From last year I'd say that the squads of us, Leeds, Warrington, Wigan, Huddersfield and Bradford have all improved. Hull, Bradford, Wigan and Warrington are all far better than last year whereas Wakey, Hull KR etc... are about the same level.

Yup. I can't see what difference two top quality forwards and a proper scrum half would make to a side.

From the beginning of last season? We've brought in 7 (Moa, Tansey and Hame too). Quite a turnover.

When Tansey/Hame arrived IMO performances did improve - Quins/Bradford were the best home games for months and Hull KR away was one of our best away performances all year.

It's the quality of the personal not the quantity and we got rid of 11 players after last season;

Tony, Bryne, Raynor, Thorman, Horne, King, Thackray, Lee, Maloney, Hodgson, Cordobra. I'd guess that's a lot more than any other team?

And my point is that we don't have anything like the same team in the crucial areas where we were weakest. We have leadership, creativity, and a much better pack. In short, a better side. By some margin.

Everyone wanted teams kn cking ten bells out of each other whilst playing games to an intensity we rarely see in this country

Thats just summed up last nights Wigan Saints game.

Intensity was great but both teams seemed to make a lot of mistakes so the quality wasn't all that amazing IMO.

He never mentioned quality, just knocking ten bells out and intensity, that game was prob the best I've seen for that this year. Completely ruined watching any of the world cup games, just wanted to see someone smash a brazillian rolling on the floor after that game.

I know, I did
