TBH, I'd probably number myself amongst them. In general, I think golden boy Briscoe is every bit the defensive liability Hall is, but seems to avoid the same level of criticism.

It doesn't help that both are playing on the wings with the positional sense of centres, but Hall has been extra poor today, there's no getting away from that.

There's still a recruitment/selection issue when you let yourselves end up going into a season with only 1 real winger though.

Maybe some of it is the coaching staff believing both Briscoe and Hall have big futures and wanting to shoehorn them into the side at all costs. Whilst morally getting rid of Raynor may have been correct, having only one specialist winger is looking utter folly at the moment.
