Well he has been from what I have seen of him, I used to watch the NRL religiously and I must have been Berrigans biggest fan. But just not done it in SL, for whatever reasons.

For me, Berrigan needs to have a good game that the pack and our halves can use as a platform to attack from.

Considering how poor some feel Berro has been at 9 and also considering how distictly average we are in the centres does anyone see any advantage of playing Berro in the centres and giving houghton a full game? He did play there for Australia!

Just a thought.

It's been debated and i think there would be strong merits in playing Berro centre. Agar wont do it though. Also dont think Houghton could play 80 at the right level of intensity so we'd need to work out who our 3rd hooker is.

I 've never been able to confidently predict which way a derby between Hull kr and Hull fc would go, this time is no different, both teams have had an indifferent start to the season.
I'm hoping that Rovers will finaly start to find some form and start taking their chances, one thing is for sure, if they squander the type of chances they had last week gainst Catalans, then they will come of second best.
Lets hope both sides put on a spectacle in front of the tv cameras and let the world see what the one and only true RL derby is realy made

Don't think Houghton could do the full 80 and also he is not good enough to control the ptb yet. All he can do is skoot.

Thought in patches he has shown a growing maturity but patches still isn't enough.

to be fair Paul we dont get much more than that from Berro these days so cant be a loser if we are weak in the centres??

He is definately getting better bu far from the finished article, which is why I am glad we have Berro for another season.

THINK - the view from the south terrace has changed in no way whatsoever from the times when you completely filled it.

A game we routinely can't seem to get up for and often get dwarfed by Rovers in terms of intensity and composure. Rovers are in rubbish form, but they lost 7 on the bounce before tonking us 42 - 6 so I'll look past that.

(With Rovers receiving an untimely moral boost in the form of learning that Agar has had his contract renewed.)

I know we're all a bit more well off on this side of the river, but not all of us can afford portable mini TVs...
