Now we have 4 props, we're likely to see a big chunk of salary cap sat on the sidelines every week (assuming no injuries) as we have far too many back rowers. If tickle asked to be released and we said no then it was a poor decision

We certainly have too many back rowers and releasing Tickle or preferably Radford would have been a good idea. However, our pack next season looks nothing short of awesome and I, for one, am very optimistic for the first time in years !!!

Loose Forwards : Washbrook, Whiting

Looking at that I'd like to see one of Radford or Dowes or King go now and bring in a back up scrum half.

The balance is not right but we have addressed issues in the pack which was the right place to start. Recruitment has been e previously and it will take more than one season for it to be rectified. In any case injuries will no doubt mean everyone gets a game and we wont be massively weakened as a result.

king has gone, radford and lauaki are 2nd rowers who may feature at propo but aren't specialist props

Do you remember supporting and sticking up for a lot of that crap recruitment over the last two or three seasons Staffs ?? You use to argue incessantly with me when I constantly criticiised it. When did you change your mind and what brought it about ??

you can never have too many forwards, under the squad formation on the 2010 list we have around 15 forwards vying for 9 spots each week (if yo work on 3 sub spots) so 15 into 9 is ok with me, you cant expect us to go through the season without injuries, suspensions and blokes needing a breather.

another bit of cover at halfback will do for me, i even think the young kids that are covering the threequarter line next year will be good enough to cover for all eventualities.

Agar has no excuses now !! His recruitment and retention (if it is his) has been nothing short of fantastic and now we have a squad to compete with the best.

As long as our coach is up to it !!
