I have to agree, think he will replace King at prop (unless his form improves), and if Moa turns out any good, he could move to the backrow.

Why do people keep saying this about King? He has played one game in 10 months and people are talking about his form improving, what about Thacks form in the first two games, does he not need to improve also?

Thacks was far better than King against Wigan, all King did was miss tackles, lose the ball and gave penalties away. King has been consistant for three years now. Thacks at the moment offers far more than King IMO.

Guess its cos King has been on last chance for the last 4 or 5 seasons and is no where near being one of the current top 3 or 4 props at the club. brining in 2 more props can only mean one thing for him.

We wont see him till the Derby anyway so theres a chance for both players to put themselves into a position where they cant be dropped.

Like I said though Dave, he has been out for several months, he will need a game or two to get his form back.

Right now we have Cusack and Does performing and King and Thacks not, if we play Luauki at prop then it leaves one spot. I can't see it being Maloney or Moa just now so it is between King and Thacks, I don't think either is a shoe in right now as neither of them are pulling up trees. However we may use Luauki in the back row as Manu is misfiring right now and King and Thacks might both play?

I also just have a gut feeling that Sam Moa will be the real deal when he gets here, just further impacting King.

For the Wigan game, no doubt. However has Thacks been playing like he can? What if Kingy comes back and outplays Thacks in the next game? Manu has been poor so why do people not want him dropped?

The good thing is we have options, something we lacked last season.

Agree here an all, feel King and Manu should have a kick of the rear, with the signing of lauaki, and also big Sam on his way.

These both need to improve to maintain there first team posistion.

Im basing Thacks performances on what i saw from him last season too. Did you know he was 4th in the Hull FC tackle busts list with 52? (only behind Manu, Raynor and Washy)

Ive got some really good ones here, Radford was our 2nd highest meter maker last season and our top tackler!



Did you also know that yeamo was our 3rd highest meter maker and top of clean breaks by some distance? (also 2nd in our assists chart, maybe he can pass!)

One final stat, i know you probably want more but i'll stop short of making you all suicidal, of the 22 main stats that measure a teams performance we outperformed rovers on only 8 of them. Stats do give an indication on performance afterall!
