Okay maybe rather see them get relegated wasn't the correct word to use. I couldn't careless about them though and would find it amusing if they were relegated just to shut their fans up. Who imo are arrogant in general.

i'm not a massive football fan either, but you have to accept that contrary to what you may read on here there are a lot of FC supporters who also support hull city. they are about to play the biggest game in their history which clashes with a fixture that occurs 3 times a year and has indeed just played out a couple of weeks ago, and will play out again later this summer. it's only right that some supporters would want to follow both, and indeed lean towards the football match. i wouldn't be surprised if this affect the turnout at the game of both sets of rugby supporters.

i'll be supporting FC on the day, but will have a keen ear on the radio as well, and i would be very happy if city win the cup

I used to go to City, but I fell out with them years ago(1992). I know lads who have stuck with them through a lot of thin and now they have it good. Granted there are about 13k of new season ticket holders who have not known the thin times and a few need reeling in, but all teams have them.

I totally understand that some fans will follow both teams and that them who do will more than likely choose the football over rugby and why wouldn't they. It's unlikely City will get to another final for 10 years or whatever.

Just my personal opinion that I don't like Hull City, never have.

Why do people not bothered about the FA cup final keep posting about it?

It is a thread about football and people will usually air their views on the subject regardless of whether they are in agreement or not.

I have no interest in the football game but understand there are those who have an interest in both games. But easy enough to stream to a mobile device these days. (If streaming then you only have to avert your eyes from the rugby game when the commentators get excited, so in effect you will maybe miss a minute or 2 of the game)

Oh come on, it's the same people whenever there's a thread about City who just like to continually post how much they 'don't care' or how 'not bothered' they are.
Even to the point where they question your commitment to rugby if you like football too, it's sad.

If there is a thread about football they are entitled to their opinion. I will grant you that there is a certain poster or two who seems to go out of their way to bemoan any thread about football on our forum, even if it is relevant to the club.

It was just that the question was a genuine (but maybe naive) one about whether the game would be shown, some people gave some good suggestions, such as the streaming.

Why people felt the need to tell us how not bothered they are is beyond me.

The way to deal with it though is not to be bothered that there not bothered otherwise it sounds like you're bothered that there not bothered.

I will be at Wembley. Last time I was there was 1985 for the Hull v Wigan match. The only other FA Cup Final I have attended was in 1966.( Everton v Sheffield Wed.). Will come over early for Hull v Wigan and City v Everton and see the Leeds v Hull and Rovers v Broncos matches before returning home.

Have previously only seen 1 match at the KC when I was in the UK in 2010 ( Hull v St Helens) and also went to see Rovers play Catalan a couple of days later.

Since leaving the UK in 1966 the only Hull v Rovers match I have attended was at Wembley in 1980.
