I don't know the details of Wade McKinnons situation, but if its due to the rumoured family issues, I think you are a little bit out of order with that comment.

I agree, I use to work offshore and while the money was great we used to have to medivac people home all the time due to family issues and they never returned. Some people are just not born to leave the family life but they don't realise it until it's too late.

The team are all playing for free next year, so that Eliis can receive the entire salary cap. Manu and McKinnon weren't up to that (splitters) so have left. The club saved their blushes by announcing that they'd decided to leave. They've actually been sacked.

I was a doubter over Lynch when he signed I thought "here we go, another one who should have just retired" but I was so wrong, his work rate and on pitch leadership, for the whole team but especially in the forwards is phenomenal, more than replaces what Fitz gave us.

Good news, though I wonder if the club have done a deal where his pay has been slightly reduced in exchange for an additional year on the contract? To free up yet more cap space, otherwise it seems bizarrely timed.

he actually didn't let us down mid season, he approached the club looking for a release at the end of the season, the club decided he could go earlier as soon as they found a replacement, wade was going to stay till the end of season
