Remember we had free entry for season ticket holders for last years cup tie versus (admittedly a far less attractive tie) and the attendance was under 9,000.
I'll be delighted to be proved wrong, mind.'"
I read an article which stated our tickets are selling well, the weather if forecast to be nice, I reckon Leeds may bring a fair few after Sundays result, I may be wrong I just expect a big gate, or maybe I am just hoping for one

No just the ones who come on here every time we lose to start a Agar out etc threads...
The one's who even if we win feel the need to have a pop at Agar or some aspect of the club, and amazingly they hardly ever talk about rugby, because basically they no nothing about the game.

Don't get me wrong Richard seems a great person and he's obviously a very good coach, just not a head coach. I played my rugby through the eighties and I've supported Hull for 30+ years, I feel I know enough about the game to have an informed opinion. The best coaches I've witnessed have comanded respect, being arrogant, shook things up and not given a if they offended anyone. Am I the only Hull fan that cringes when Richard is giving his post match comments?

No, but you've managed to meet one of the senior figures in the Agar support camp on here, they will not admit that a lot of fans are underwhelmed by decisions made.
In fact, if you comment, you know nothing about rugby, apparently.

I actually believe Agar is good with the media, he is a down to earth guy and I would sooner have him than the media whore Morgan is..
The players do actually hold Agar in high regard, I know this by speaking to several players, I am not sure of Agars capabilities as head coach yet, I will decide at the end of the season when the results will speak for themselves. As I look at it he is our coach no matter what we think, so I will get behind him as he is an important part of our team.

that is great news wolfie, I still think it being a TV game will have an effect, I know a fair few not going because it's on TV, we are in Chester so we're missing a game I'd normally have made a real effort to get to.
Another issue I keep hearing is the quality of the game as a whole and the refereeing, I know after the Warrington game that a few of the people I took said they wont go again as the wrestle etc. is killing it as a sepctacle.

I don't want a 'down to earth guy' leading our team, I want someone with attitude. Doug Laughton, Phil Gould, Ian Millward, etc. all a-holes but bloody good coahes. IMO Richard looks looks out of place in front of the media. I've got no problem with him being at the club, he's obviously a very knowledgeable lad but he's no head coach.

I do not want some-one with attitude, it does not necessarily make them successful, I admire Nobby but he does not have attitude, nor does Nathan Brown who I also admire. We had Peter Sharpe the disciplinarian and he never cut the cloth..
Like I said time will tell if Agar is the right man or not, I am reasonable happy with our season so far and hope to finish at least in the top 6.

I haven't seen anything to suggest Agar is a good coach, even with a full compliment of (very capable) players. As you say, time will tell.

Millward isn't by any stretch of the imagination "a bloody good coach." That Saints team would have been unstoppable if Mr Bean was coaching them. You only need to look at the high profile job Millward has now to see how good he is.

| Hull have 9.500 pass holders that can get in for " FREE " Leeds have 9000 pass holders ..Being at the game is better than watching on TV ..There could be well over 16000 ..The team that will win it is the team who want it most ..Just hope Hull are that team ..Got a feeling S Long just might play
