To be fair i have and i know others too have not being happy with two club bosses living uder the same roof, the only reason gateshead merged with hull was due to the fact they could make more money off us then they ever would up there! im sorry to say i feel like our club view’s us not as human RL fanatics but as walking, talking, living pound signs.

Totally agree they have never being in it for the love of the club but to make the money back they invested in gateshead

Because you make statements and allegations that are no more than your opinion and then compound it by saying the current board are incompetant with no evidence.
Because to fairly criticise you need to be in possesion of all the facts and unless you are on the board you have no conception of the problems facing the club.I have no problem with your criticism based on facts but your generalisations are just not thought through.Well done for buying a shirt for 30 quid,but nobody forced you.
Your assumption that money recieved by the club is snaffled by the board is just not true.
Us speccies want success,success costs money, without a benefactor the club need to maximise revenue to put out a decent team.At the beginning of the season we nearly all thought we had a good team and would possibly finish in the top two,this hasn't panned out but the board did thier bit by assembling the team.Now we are in a position where the club is taking a lot of flack for poor performances.This is not all down to the board, so to blame them for all our woes is ludicrous.
The team we have is at least equal to most of our rivals but we are lacking the organisation we need,the team are low in confidence and the result at the weekend was awful,but you cant lay all our troubles at their door.

i paid the cash, and to be honest they make sooo much profit it's unreal, i would be happy if they had a better commitment to US the fans! i have no problem putting money into the club, but i expect back more than a rugby match, how about a club that talks properly to us, lets us know were in the black or how much in the red. im gutted our board is sooooo quite because im sick of the rumors.

Just to add a point or two :

How many of us would/could invest in a club with no return on that investment? I had shares in Hull FC and my footy team too, when the footy team got a benefactor the shares were bought back at less than I paid and no dividend had ever been paid.

Secondly, what clout would a few thousand supporters purchasing shares have ? none I would wager, we would have no more say than we do now.

The club employes many people so called professionals in their field however mistakes still aprrear to happen.

Its time for another Roy (RIP) he always had our clubs best interests at heart I am not so sure others have.

The board fleece us plain and simple they have let us down big style they have let an asset(or ) whichever you prefer walk out of the door for possibily nothing, we the fans are so secluded from the truth its unreal they know were always going to back our team no matter what.

But the truth of the matter is that sooner or latter things are going to have to change after the recent success they should have built on the feel good factor but not one of them is a people person who the fans can relate to they keep to much information from us.

Take plummer he wouldn't do live debates on radio blunderside, i was involved with a fundraising event for steve presscott when i took the money raised in to the club he didn't even know that fundraising event had being going despite the fact it had being advertised in the local paper.

We want a board of directors with the finger on the pulse that are inovative forward thinking and are going to help us grow as a club and as a buissness and i for one don,t see this happening under the present board

We might not have much clout and i for 1 wouldn't be to bothered if my shares lost value the point is you could be there at an AGM to have your sayand to get some information as to where how and who the clubs money is spent as i have said before these are in it to get there money back dont be fooled as to thinking there in it for anything else

The point the Brother is trying to make I think is that we currently dont have enough people running our club that are passionate about HULL FC.

Of course they have to have business sense to go with the passion (although even in that area our guys seem to be lacking!), but with a real love for our great club aswell.

Without doubt half of the rumours that have been flying about lately could easily be put to bed if the club had communicated with us, but to be fair to Mr Rule he has finally got the message and has begun doing this through the club site.

Im just the average fan off the street but what i do have is a prolonged love and passion for hull fc that will never waifer but i would also spend every spare penny i had to buy as many shares as i could if we were able to give the club back to us the fans with bigger buissnessmen putting a larger proportion up its just finding them

I dont doubt that we are all passionate fans but that is not what a club needs in directors.All this talk of businessmen putting money in has been going on for years,where are they.The fact is Plummer mentioned years ago that the club was available.Either there is no one out there or anyone wanting to purchase is hoping to do it at bargain prices.
To just expect someone will come in and act as a saviour is living in cloud cuckoo land.There is a lot of negativity around at the minute but much of it is being caused by problems outside of the club.
Whether you admire the board or not you should remember they were the ones that saved the club. Our club is one of only a few that are run at some kind of a profit and is therefore in a stronger position than most of our rivals to continue.If the present board walk away there is a very strong probability the club would fold and even if it didnt there is no guarantee any new administration would be as good never mind better.
