Fans Back in Stadia from Round Six
The current plan is that a limited number of fans will be allowed back into stadia from Monday 17th May and as a result, most of the Super League teams have shifted their fixtures to the Monday evening for Round Six to take advantage. It will be the first time in fourteen months, since Castleford and St Helens met on the 15th March 2020, that supporters will be allowed in to cheer on their teams, but number will still be limited and clubs now have the new headache of how to prioritise admissions.
It is understood that the current guidance is a capacity of 10,000 or 25% of an all-seater stadium, whichever is lower, will be permitted initially and this will gradually be increased over the coming months.

which is compliant with our tenancy agreement, City have the stadium when the football season is ongoing, AP made the rules, not the Allams I am afraid. |

That's what I thought. Can't see there being much of an issue tbh as not every pass holder will want to attend. |

I would guess we’re waiting to see when City’s promotion is confirmed. If results go their way this weekend then we could be cleared to rearrange the Cats game for the 17th |

Despite the ongoing financial challenges presented by the Coronavirus pandemic, the club has agreed to a significant financial contribution in addition to our normal stadium user fees to ensure our fans are not prevented from watching their team for the first time since March 2020.....
Our fixture against the Dragons will be one of the first professional sporting events in the country to welcome back crowds, but the attendance will be strictly limited to fewer than 6,000 people in accordance with government guidelines.
Therefore, this fixture will only be available to 2021 members and corporate partners – rewarding you for your loyal and committed support.'"
Can't really see the point as there will be a long delay before the next home game anyway.

Quote Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden was at the Crucible yesterday, and in an exclusive interview with The Yorkshire Post, explained the important role the tournament has played.
“This a really important part of the Events Research Programme,” he said. “We have got one aim in mind; how do we get as many people back as possible by stage four, June 21.
“We have to do it in a safe way. What we are doing through the Events Research Programme is looking at different environments and what the risk factors are. At the Crucible over the course of the fortnight we have slowly ramped up the numbers. It started at 25 per cent, today it’s 75 per cent, and for the finals it will be 100 per cent. We are then looking at the spread risks, we test people before and after, we are looking at the ventilation, crowd behaviour, to see how we can do this in a safe way.'" |
