What's up with Houghton? I can't remember the last time he missed a game before this season.

He was ever present in 2013, missed one in 2014 (Catalans away as his wife was due to give birth), ever present in 2015 and was rested in the Super 8s at Saints last season. Missed Warrington last week and Salford last night due to a calf injury.

Of them four games we lost three and drew one. We've not won a game without Houghton in nearly five years.

I think me and you need to take some responsibility for his injury, only talking about him not missing a game a few weeks back!!!

I think he will play, heard him talking to someone today so he has a good chance, if he doesn't play I don't see us winning.

We just need him back as soon as possible. I share your worries about our chances on Friday without him. I've read many Hull fans being very confident about beating Leeds but our record against them is dreadful. We need Houghton, Ellis, Taylor and Kelly back to have any chance.

Had his arms and legs chopped off, his body quartered and sent to the 4 corners of the empire. Fortunately he's a quick healer so should be back for friday

Picked up a calf injury against Wigan.
He hasn't missed many in recent years that's for certain and definitely makes us tick.

Houghton expecting to be OK for Easter games

If you need tickets probably best buying today as the SMC in their wisdom are taking the ticket system down for an upgrade tomorrow, not expected to be back on til Wednesday. Only random seats available from the shops during the downtime.

Surely an upgrade would take an hour, not a day. It should be tested before installed, and tickets should be available without it. The Allams ripping FC off again!!

The question is, was he expected back, or was he told to take as long as needed for whatever situation is involved. (Which is a private matter I assume)

He was due back on Saturday/Sunday - and he is back

Houghton was speaking to my old man on Saturday and he said he "bloody hopes so" about being back, and then said "yeah i should be ok"

So if he doesnt play, it may be due to saving him for Leigh?

It couldn't be sorted, he just had to be there for his family. At times like that Rugby doesn't become important and the club did the right thing in letting him go. But all credit to Albert to play against Warrington and support the club and his teammates despite what had happened back hime

Obviously a private matter, so good on him for playing and I hope he's ready to play, Friday may be too soon, but Albert and Lee will know what's best. If condolences are appropriate then Albert and is family certainly have mine.
