So just who are the people letting Radford down? Tea lady? Kit man?
There is only one problem at the club and that's lack of a coach who cannot produce an attacking team and who relies on five drives and a kick.He may be good at paperwork and im certain he works hard but Adam you promised us attacking attractive rugby.Where is it?
Hull fc are the Hull City of the Premier league the most boring team to watch.
You can go on believing what you want Adam but most fans have had enough now of the spin.

we expect our team to win a few games every now and again.
we expect our team to show a bit of enterprise in attack.
we expect our team to entertain us.
we expect a coach to have some sort of idea how to inspire a team to turn thing round .

we expect too much

lets be happy to have a team who can run other teams close but still lose by 6 points or less
lets be happy to watch 5 drives and a kick (and not always a good one)
lets be happy to be sat through 80 boring minutes every week.
lets be happy to listen to a coach keep telling us that 1 win will turn our season around.
lets just be happy to be Hull FC fans and carry on having our hopes destroyed within the first 7 weeks of the season.

I couldn't agree with you more.
According to some on here though it is the fans that have had enough that are letting the team down by not backing them whatever.
Think Pearson and Radford need to take a look in the mirror for the actual answer.

The only way you could really say players are letting a coach down is if they aren't putting the effort in. With the exception of the last half an hour against Leeds and perhaps the first half against Salford I haven't seen a lack of effort.

If they are trying hard but simply not playing well then that's not letting him down imo. The buck has to stop with the coach in this case. He has to identify what the problems are and put them right, and if players aren't getting the game plan he needs to get things across to them better. If he feels that there is a lack of effort then he needs to drop the players responsible. Don't just carrying picking them and then complaining about it. What message does that send out.

If AP believes it's not Radford's fault and "certain people" are letting Radford down, he needs to deal with those people!

From what I saw on Twitter it sounded like AP was saying that Gentle left us in a bit of a mess. If two sixth place finishes and a cup final is considered a mess then I have to be honest and say I wish we was still in that "mess".

With regards to the original question, I'm presuming AP is alluding to certain players letting Radford down but who knows. Whoever it is though, wasn't Radford given a free pass last year to sort these things out? Wasn't that alluded at in AP's "state of the nation" speech?

If it's not the players then is he pointing the finger at the coaching staff? Motu Tony? Maybe it's all James Clark's fault

Hang on that makes no sense to me. Lynch was still with us until the end of the 2013 season and Miller joined us halfway through that season.

Has, my mistake in typing, but not sure how it will work if we aren't in SL next season, unlikely but possible.

As someone else stated already I'm pretty sure Pearson said somewhere (probably a fans forum) that Lynch was hardly training due to injuries so they thought it was best to allow him to speak to other clubs. Now it's all Gentle's fault. It may well have been Gentle's decision, but Adam wasn't complaining about it at the time.

It's just a case of him hiding behind the so called mistakes of Gentle and McRea. Again.

I did think that, it was on one tweet, but they were separate things, the only way it may have been possible, would be if Miller's contract was small in the first year and loaded in the 2nd/3rd, meaning we had to shift Lynch off the cap?

It is starting to seem that way, I'm not saying that Gentle and McRae didn't make recruitment errors, but for all the errors they still got us to 6th place twice and a CC final.

Classic case of apportioning blame, to someone who isnt around anymore.

Good point. As he only joined halfway through he'd have presumably gotten only half a season's salary off us that first season which we had room on the cap for. But a full season salary the following year meant someone had to move on. Shame it was Lynch. I rated him highly.

Oh they made mistakes without a shadow of a doubt, but it's easy to say that with the benefit of hindsight. At the time we weren't sitting here questioning why the signings were being made. Crookes, Arundle, Pitts, McDonnell, Miller. All seemed like decent signings at the time. Indeed a few of those put in good performances for us.

Regardless of how many avarage players we had collecting big salaries, that bunch of players had, as you say, two 6th places, two playoff wins, and a trip to Wembley. We can only dream of that now.

I think we have and this shows by how many are still attending home and away.

The problem is most fans are fed up with poor and boring rugby, as I have said before, I am currently attending more out of loyalty than enjoyment.

If you're happy to be lied to and treated like a mug then that's up to you. Just don't complain when others don't feel the same way.

Regarding the 2x 6th place finishes and a CC final. Maybe that's as good as it would ever be in Pearson's mind and we needed to start from scratch again in order to truly progress?

Possibly. If that was the case though I think he may have jumped the gun a bit. He was happy enough a year earlier to give Gentle a contract extension.
