FOUR CHANGES FOR WIGAN TRIP

FC coach Peter Gentle has made four changes to his squad for Friday’s trip to Wigan Warriors in Super League.

Following the Tetley’s Challenge Cup final defeat to the same opposition on Saturday, the Black and Whites boss looks set to hand an opportunity to several young players as his side chase a home tie in the play-offs.

It sees Josh Bowden, Dean Hadley, Paul Johnson and Liam Kent drafted into the 19-man party for the trip across the M62 as Hull look for their fourth consecutive win in the competition.

The quarter replace the injured Gareth Ellis, Andy Lynch and Mark O’Meley, while former New Zealand hooker Aaron Heremaia is suspended after taking an Early Guilty Plea to a dangerous tackle in the Wembley defeat.

Hadley, Kent, Johnson and Bowden in. O'Meley, Lynch, Ellis and Heremaia out.

I'd be more confident if Lauaki was playing for Wigan.

Better chance for revenge and two valuable points trump the fact it might not even be a contest?

Normally the week after a Wembley win I'd I expect a large Wigan crowd but at £20 for an adult ticket with that squad named I'd be a bit surprised many non-season ticket holders will shell out.

I wont be going over now - if it was 2 full strength sides then I would, but both teams are missing a lot of players (ours forced)

Heard Ben Crooks has had a protective boot on this week, if so I wouldn't play him, rather Horne played centre

i'll start by saying in no way i think he is a bad player but i just dont think he took his chances in the last few games he's played, and i just think whiting deserves a start more than crookes.

I'd keep Holdsworth on a Loose for this game to allow Miller and Horne to have a game together at 6+7 as K-Diddy said.

Tbf I'd agree with you mate if Lineham was fit. With the lack of experienced forwards available this week we need to keep Whiting in the 2nd row/13 IMO.

Wasn't me pal, BrianGriffin. Could we see Horne return as interchange hooker in place of Aaron? Not sure if he's played there for us before and if he was any good.
