Is it authentic? Do our half backs always manage to find the full back or winger with a kick and do we suffer massive injury problems year after year?

advert looks like they've included set plays, players names are easier to see too
will wait for a few reviews before deciding to splash the cash though, games are such a rip off these days

Might get it if the reviews are good. My friend has already said he's definitely getting it so I suppose I'll go round and play it at his house first to see if I want to get it myself.

I will be getting it but i just hope there is a major improvement in the graphics in the first one they was terrible. Another thing is i hope they aint charging £45 again or i will wait too it goes down in price before i buy it.

The last version never came down in price, they dont buy a lot in the first place - hence the high price

It came down in price on Amazon but it did not in Grainger Games i don't think.

Still remember playing the first Rugby League game on PS2, brilliantly bad. Every player looked the same and we were referred to as the 'Hull Sharks'. the novelty o playing as Hull FC sort of made up for most of the games short comings but the other games didn't seem to improve based on reviews so didn't bother again

might rent it and give it a go when it does come out, certainly won't put on my Christmas wish list

Anybody wishing to see the game demonstrated "hands on" can do so at Grainger Games Whitefriargate this Saturday from 2.30 pm onwards.

Stadiums look really good, the Super league players look nothing like the real players except for the Aussies in the squads. NRL players look good though.

Gameplay is a massive improvement on the last version and although it takes a while to get used to it, it is worth persevering with and moving up the difficulty levels.

That's a licensing issue, I believe.

Just think the ESL could have made some cash by selling the rights.

You could even do that in Rugby League 2....

Just little things like the player only passing from within the tackle occasionally, 40/20 not being easy, flat passes, deep passes etc that all work.
One little bugbear I have is the ease with which the computer intercepts when you are passing, but once you get into you learn when and when not to throw the ball out wide and when to chip forward. Also it is easy to get a repeat set of six with a simple quick grubber at their player and you pick it back up 99% of the time with another set of 6.

Still a major improvement on Rugby League Live and if they continue to produce the game the future versions will get better.
