Holdsworth is a good signing and I'd just stick with seymour unless we can get someone who is definitely better

Actually thought Seymour was better at 6 last night....put out some lovely cut out passes and 2 cracking passes for 2 trys.

Seymour wasn't as bad as people make out in the 1st half of the season

Agree, Chase would be fantastic, but there wouldn't be many better half back pairings than Holdsworth and Seymour in SL.

For me, Seymour's distribution/passing is generally excellent. Obviously never a runner, but a bit disappointed with his kicking and lack of dominance in attack. Have heard the main reason his kicking is erratic is due to a knee injury, which may be chronic! Maybe he had an Adam Dykes medical.

Think Holdsworth showed in the exiles game how good he can be when he has better players around him, the fact Salfords back 5 have all scored 10 or more tries shows how good he is playing out wide and if he and McDonnell can click our backs will get some great service.

I would`nt get too carried away with the prospects of DJ if I were you lot. You`ve only seen him play a few games. Trust me, he is not as good as some think he is. His kicking game is terrible most of the time, and his shots at goal are very erratic. He can pop them over from the sidelines , yet miss the sitters in front of the sticks [ usually just when you need the two points Best of luck to him anyway.
