After yesterdays game, i noticed a couple players who just didn't seem bothered at all..

Manu was one of them, i just didn't think he wanted to play at all. was very quiet.
Mckinnon was poor, some passes he through were horrible. i don't no if he was affected by the rain but surely he knows how and when to pass the ball.

Seems these two players look likely to be leaving but if there going to under perform, whats the point??

I think it's a bit unfair to say Manu didn't seem bothered. It was obvious that their tactics were to get to him as quick as possible and when he did get some space i think he used it well

Only watchd the highlights from the Wigan game last night and Manu looks like he's already at Langtree Park

Where beaten before they even took the field, mentally just not up for any sort of battle yesterday, very poor.

Manu was a bit lethergic yesterday but so were plenty of others and Wade isn't fully fit but did a good job. Fans are justing picking on these two because of the rumours.

All teams have days like yesterday when they just do not turn up, if you have a full squad against one of the lesser sides you can get away with it but not against the likes of Wigan,

came out alone to warm up, one of the last ones to leave at half time and never went in with team. all in all had a very quiet game. he didnt seem bothered, thats my opinion.

Utter tripe , if you have watched Manu you will have noticed that he is always last out of the changing rooms on to the pitch .Some people wear lucky red pants others like to be last on the field. I suspect all this speculation isn't doing his concentration any good but to think he isn't bothered is naive

I had one numpty near me shouting at Briscoe F*** off to Australia it that's what he wants because he clearly can't be d to play for Hull. I'm really finding it hard not to say anything these days.

He wasn't criticising his performance he was questioning his commitment to the club. So yes he is wrong, and a bit of a dick.

Firstly he wasnt pointing anything out he was giving a bull opinion.

Secondly performance isn't always linked to commitment. It is possible to have a poor game whilst giving 100% commitment.

If someone looks like they can't be d to play - they can't be performing well, can they?

The perception that both Manu and Briscoe are under performing, or not interested is, in my opinion, directly linked to our opposition sussing that if they shut Manu down they shut our left side attack down. In consequence Manu is being marked out of the game, and Briscoe has no service.
The few times he has received good, quick supply, he has made good yards and finished his trys well.
That said, he should not be immune from critcism, and has been at fault, defensively on a couple of occassions

Spot on for me - teams have had 3 or 4 tacklers on him because they know what he can do. If he goes, I hope we will use the same tactic

The hand off/throw that Manu put on sending Darrell Goulding ar$e-over-t1t isn't something a player going through the motions would do either.

I think Agar leaving has hit Briscoe hard as well. Coming in from Fev that must be all he's known as a coach at this level and he is out of his comfort zone IMHO with Gentle, perhaps not getting as much direct support as he used to?

Our experienced players were having to play long minutes and Manu in particular was our only "go to" player on the field so of course it's going to be easy for Wigan to shut him down. Our 17 against that Wigan 17 simply weren't good enough , they were outclassed but I didn't see any player shirking. Far from it , I thought they showed plenty of spirit. Everyone knew it was a mismatch and the outcome was just about as expected. The most disappointing aspect for me was that we let Wigan score the two early tries before getting into the game when I thought our adrenalin may help us to stay with them early. Wigan's attack though was just too good.

Manu went OK yesterday I thought, and in the first half when we had 3 back to back sets on their line we were playing 1 out rugby, almost looking for the chance to go wide to Willie, but it never came, surprised me really since he's usually over used.

And for me, Briscoe was our best player yesterday, people just decide he's leaving and nothing he does will change that.
