When the club got the initial diognosis. They were told it would be a year, so they sent him to another specialist who said it wouldn't be anywhere near that long, but couldn't give the club a date for return

If he's out he's out, nothing anyone can do. We'll just have to hope that the club are getting the best people to treat him and that he'll play some time soon.

If you listen to what Gentle said,, he was being very cautious. He said if it takes 6/8 weeks for him to be available then so be it, from that I wouldn't expect him back in the short term just yet.

It is a worrying injury but if the medics say he'll be OK after surgery then I would have thought the club have to take that advice. Halves and hookers are pretty close in terms of positions these days and whilst not ideal we've already done it in several games this season.
