Possibly. For me he is the type of player who gets better the more he is asked to do. I think he'd revel in it.

I agree, He's only young but has bags of SL experience and he has shown this season that, IMO has the qualities of captain.

Ill probably get torn to bits for this but if not Ticks I'd maybe give Horny a go.

Not vocal enough for me to be fair. I couldn't see Horney behind his own sticks with the team tearing strips off them or giving them a rallying speech when things aren't going to plan.

The captain should be someone who is on the pitch for the full 80. I would see how pre-season goes and then name the captain before first game.

I would of thought the Captain and Vice Captain will be from Tickle, O Meeley and Radford.

Although wouldn't be a shock if there was a surprise ie one of the new signings

one of the reasons I sort of put Horney forward although Ticks would still be my first choice.

I think he's stepped up once or twice. He's not done it full time though has he? My memories not what it was.

IIRC he has "struggled" with the responsibility in the past, in fact I have a vague recollection of him saying he didn't want it permanently??

My thinking was he is now a senior statesman within the team with pivotal role also if you watch him he does do a lot of talking behind the sticks. Although he would need to be 100% up for it though, last thing you want is selfdoubt in a captain.

What about Mckinnon? Don't know that much about him but got the experience and being a fullback he gets to see a lot more of the game and were the mistakes are occurring.

Great player just wish he was in a more central role with a new coach that might just happen and if he is i couldnt think of anyone better

dont see how anyone can look past ogre hes done everything in the game and leads by example both on and off the pitch ,morley is wire captain and doesnt play full 80 so its not an issue for me radders would also be a good candidate again true pro and done most everything in the game
