whats goin on.....no tansey, not even in the squad ?

It's been said on here all week that he's been away for family reasons.

It's also been said that he's been a naughty boy again.

Yeah, but the vast majority have been saying it's family reasons, and I'd bet that the 'naughty boy' things may have been instigated by people of a similar kind to cheeky charlie.

It's also been said that Cronk and Marshall are signing for us. The fact is, nobody really knows. All I know is that he isn't playing and I hope he's alright for the season.

At the ground rumours circulating he has been sacked.... Have to wait and see I suppose!

Humberside said they'd be asking Agar about Tansey after the game. Can we go easy on the speculation until we've heard what he had to say please? If it is legitimate family reasons it would be unfair to have the other rumours plastered all over here.

First time for years I havn`t bought a season ticket,and I am beginning to not regret it already.

Why? Whiting is playing there today and I'd be quite happy to see him play there regularly.

I'd play him at 6, Whiting at 1, without Tansey we loose loads of creativity.

Whatever is happening with Tansey, we certainly seem to be in disarray. At least we are starting the season in disarray. We had to wait until April last season.

Possibly. I'd feel more assured with Whiting at 1 defensively anyway. He could play at 6 we'd certainly see his creativity more from there anyway. From what we've seen of him it's were his strength is anyway.



Whiting's centre position? When has Whiting ever had a regular centre position?

After trailing away by 2 points at half in a friendly or because of speculation why Tansey isn't playing?

Since he was given a centres number this season.

He's played centre more than any other position (I think), he's publicly stated that Agar considers him to be a centre, and he's got a centre's squad number. I think it's safe to say that he is/was intended to play at right centre this season.

So that'll be never then.

Possibly but he's played virtually everywhere so far for us. Up to now he's never been anymore a centre than he has a FB.



I think we'd all consider him to be a centre too. I still think the intention is to play him at centre this season, just because he's FB today doesn't really tell us anything unless Manu is going to our new centre?

Regardless of the reasons for his absence today, Tansey is more of an handfull off the pitch for us as a club, then he is on it against opposition defences.
