1, i have a feeling that Westy could have a massive influence on this season for us and he brings a lump to our pack as he is a big ripped unit thats for sure
2, Sam i feel could be a stand out Prop in SL this year as he has lost a bag of weight , looks strong and could be I feel a player that opposition will not enjoy seeing come off the bench this year.
3, Ogre looks back to his best IMO, he has also lost a bit of weight and looks really up for this year as well.

But my prediction for a POTY candidate for this coming term is Hame!! a year in SL and a whole bunch of lessons under his belt , he will be a better player for it and he loves the club so will be playing for a new contract / extention

Our two wingers and I agree with you Expro, Flipper to rip it up after the experience of a season on his back.

Really excited about our wingers, and hopefully they will have centres inside them for a long duration too. Tansey and Hame have big seasons for me, step up their game and they could make huge differenes IMO.

Would have loved us to get Monaghan at centre.
Think we have the nucleus of a top 5 side and surely were due a season with minimal
injuries.

Losing lots of weight might not work for him and the way he plays.

Indeed, picking out individuals before the season is a recipe for disaster, expectations should be of themselves, no extra pressure from fans needed, be a lot more positive to have a "who's recent performances have impressed you" after 6/8 games.

I hope EXPRO is right and we've been trying new combinations in training, I don't agree about Long/Horne being a top partnership but we'll see.

So that means Moa, Ogre and Westerman will all be completly cack this season as NeverbeenaPRO has predicted they will be. Poor blokes!

A few of the players were commenting on Jordan Turner and how impressive he was looking. In fact, Ben Cooper and Andy Last actually said that he was looking like the best and most improved player of preseason so far!!

That was also said last season.....

I don't think it was to be honest!! IIRC the club just said he was benefitting from a full preseason with the club!!

1. Hame, he is going to really rock next season I hope he is just as mental as well

4.Turner, I think he will carry on with his development and have a very good season.

As usual I expect to see the usual standard from the king of cover Whiting, and also hope to see the same standard of performance from Sir Fitz and Orgre....

If Manu developed a passing game he'd be the best 2nd row in the league imo. In fact, if our whole left side had a passing game we'd be almost unstoppable down that side.
I hope a lot of pre season is spent speeding up our ptb and getting the ball wider, quicker to our 2nd rowers, also getting our halves on the same side and our backs deeper allowing Tansey to come into the line more.

Whats this development your talking about, he has been playing first team rugby and at SL standard now for a good while, he aint fresh out of the academy!

Players stop developing when they reach a Super League first team?

No your right of course, I just generally dont talk about established first team/SL players as needing developing, especially at his age. You would have thought by now he has all the skills he is capable of learning at this stage of his career.

At least we know what standard Craig Hall will be next season then!

Have Ben Cockayne and Scott Murrell not developed in the last couple of seasons in your opinion? Or Welham coming into your side as a 21year old and Turner being 21 himself currently??

He is 21! Of corse he he won't have all the skills!

I'm not denying that. But you said that players no longer develop when they play first team at Superleague level. And now you are saying they have developed as you expected.

Just as we are saying we expect Jordan Turner to develop further next season and beyond!!
