Fact is we never saw the ball in the second half. Childs was a disgrace in that second half. If your looking for penalties you can always find them but no way in hell were that much more indisciplined than Hudds. I'd imagine the penalty count int the second half was about 10-0? We had numerous occasions when we should have had a penalty in the second half but childs just wasn't interested eg the Briscoe break down the wing when they held on for a ridiculous amount of time. Yes most of them were penalties but you need to be consistant for both teams and childs just wasn't interested in looking for infringements by Hudds.

Second half we played almost the exact same way as the first half we just never saw the ball and it cost us.

the truth is we are NOT a quality side?
we still need a stand off who can create something or at least put out a decent pass.
like always we win a few matches,players make bold predictions in the paper and then we get blown out of the water as soon as we play a side with a bit of commitment.

im not to upset by todays result,i still dont think we are a top 3 side,our threequarters lack that quality and cutting edge.today was always going to be tough,yes its disapointing after been 18 0 ,but these things happen.look at leeds losing at home to celtic today.we are a fair bit better than last year,but have a bit to do yet.

Agree with that. As said in another thread, Old Trafford talk is for nutters. We're far better than the last 2 seasons but IMO are about 6th best at the moment. Disappointing to throw away an 18 point lead but credit to Huddersfield - great comeback by a quality side.

Huddersfield are a good team. To surrender an 18 point lead is very frustrating but if you think that was "an absolute disgrace" then you've not been watching Hull for long.

Agar said on radio that we conceded 9 successive penalties in the 2nd half against a team who were more than capable of taking advantage, therein lies the reason for our collapse.
