We have trouble getting one good enough to ref SL games, we've absolutely no chance of getting two.

Sure I have seen a thread about it already, but the NRL are/have (dunno which!!) changed the rule to say just touching the post doesn't count as in touch, the player has to have part of his body on or over the line regardless of hitting the post to count as in touch.

Sure we would have followed the two referees thing as well, but as has been said, we struggle to find one that can control the game!!

Two refs is not a RULE change. The corner post issue is something that will most likely be included into the international game thus being the norm for SL.

bloody rule changes.just when i get used to the ones we already have!!!!

I liked the rule/interpretation changes at the start of this season: one of which was intended to complete a tackle when the ball-carriers leg is lifted by a defender and the other to stop dragging players backwards (or into touch) in tackles so that we could get some consistency...

...sure enough, the refs have consistently not enforced either. DId they decide to change them back? Did I miss the announcement?

Two refs requires more personnel and more money, a rule change won't.

It makes me laugh that apparantly Yeaman doesn't pass but his winger(Briscoe 11 and Hall 2) has got 13 trys this season. Leeds away put two cracking balls out to Briscoe and tonight for one of Halls and he was involved for the Longy try too.

Ive been saying for a while that the Yeamo reputation is built on the fact that he makes at least 1 bad call per game where he could put his winger away. The fact that he does actually put his winger away several times per game as well goes un noticed. (when Yeamo gets the ball in the first place which he hasnt really got consistently since Cooke left)

Yeamo's rubbish apparently on that basis.

Agree with that...Yeamo is starting to find his form again this season, his defence is solid, if he continues I reckon he will be pushing for an International spot

He does need to concentrate more defensively but it doesnt help that he is having to cover Long in the defensive line. I'd rather FC defended with Yeamo outside of Long so at least Yeamo can come in and help. Last night every time Yeamo turned round Long was been done.

He needs to concentrate more full stop. Has a tendency to drift in and out of games at times and isn't always alert to what's developing. Briscoe has stepped in twice recently when the ball has been kept alive after Yeamo was already walking around waiting for the next PTB - last week being a prime example.
